When I did this on my warlock I didn't find him until I wandered back to the cave.

Doing this on my druid, twice he came up to the front of the cave. The first time was before I had the quest, I was killing worgs for Emergency Measures and he suddenly came charging at me.
The second time I was only a few feet away from Val'zij, just sitting there for a minute while I minimized WoW to cruise the internet. He showed up again to try and kill me.

I don't think he was chasing anyone else out and it seems odd that he would patrol that far out. The way he aggroed me was a bit odd too, coming right for me instead of patrolling nearby and spotting me. Anyone else noticed weird behavior out of him?

Just in case any hunter decides to farm this cave using the Jormungar pet he seems to use his instagib ability on the hunter pet the same as he does on the worms in the cave... very annoying for my pet to be hit for like 180ish then all of a suddon dead from 16k health...

The weirdest thing just happened to my while I was inside the cave. I was just leaving when all of a sudden I fell through the cave floor and died, so beware

I spent 10 minutes waiting for that stupid worg to spawn in the back of the cave. I eventually started heading to the entrance and there he was fighting worms. So if he's not in the back, patrol the cave and you'll eventually find him.

Id like to note that if u r leveling Leather Working and have skinning that this mob spawns within 5-10 sec of killing and skinning him. he gives 1-5 leather a skin so it is a good spot to farm the leather to level your profession.

Edit::: id like to add that the spawn location is the same.....he spawns at the end of the cave.

Edit::: Occasionally he will run towards the front of the cave and fight other mobs.
