Thassarian's dailies do not give any rep. Which is disappointing. I still have a couple of quests to do from him, but so far these have no rewards other than gold.

Does anyone know what the swords he's wielding are, and if there are swords that match that model that players can get? Cause those are some NICE one handers. Unless he has Titan's Grip o-O...

When engaged in combat his ghoul Lurid says:
"Lurid could get used... to working with you."
"It's about time! Lurid was getting bored."

Those are the only ones I could get. He might have some more.

Am I the only one that noticed that he looks almost exactly like the Death Knight in the very first Wrath of the Lich King trailer?

As of patch 3.1, this guy has dissapeared from the skybreaker along with that engineer gnome in the underdeck that gives 2 daily quests. I wonder if they moved him to Argent Tournament area or something. If anyone know if i can still get the dailies that Thassarian gives please tell me :)

There most be some kind of unusual bug. I logged twice and he was not there, both times. Maybe he disappears when someone runs tirion's gambit?

There is currently a manga comic of him in the works entitled "warcraft: deathknight" wich will tell the untold story of Thassarian the death knight, maybe the WotLK trailer will give us some insight into what the story will tell? (he's the dethknight featured in it.)

His main hand hits for about 8500, and off hand for about 4500 - before any mitigation with no other abilities.
He seems to be soloable by anything with tank high armor, or atleast a plate DPS with great gear, I was able to solo him on my Prot Warrior in Naxx 25/Ulduar gear.

As of 3.2.2 there seems to be a minor glitch that causes him to say his Scourge quotes ("Our master's will be done" and "We will ravage this land!") when you speak to him. Haven't had a chance to verify whether this happens in all of his appearances or just the one on the Skybreaker, though.

To get to the quests on Skybreaker you must talk to Marshal Ivalius http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=31241 and complete The Skybreaker http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=13225 first.

he is NOT soloable..... strangely, the knight-captain IS soloable by a blood dk, and i expect the same is true for a ret pally..... quite easy actually

I Soloed him on my 80 mage... it is rather easy if you know how to keep him frozen in place and spam ice lance + deep freeze, just make sure you kill the Skybreaker Captain and his two marines first, their deck is the perfect place to kill him. now onward to the Plaguelands to kill him once more

I could not remember where on that flying fortress this NPC was. For those having trouble, he's on the left "wing" from where the flight point lands. Hope this helps.
