This is definitely one... erm... bubbly pet. So, definitely might annoy people if they have sound on ;) It's also quite small. Hadn't seen anyone have it on my server so far.

Tamed this guy back in 3.0.3 Named him Booger. Should have heard the comments my guild made when I brought him out for a run. Hehe

Once tamed, this pet does not seem to have an 80 sized model. Probably the most compact of any level 80 pet.

I got mine a while ago and I use it all the time in pvp and solo pve. As a tenacity pet, it makes up for the lack of the crab's special ability by looking as awesome as it is. for solo pve, the damage shield ability is awesome. I'm always using it. And it gets tons of comments. Almost to the point of being a burden since I often don't have time to type out the details of what it is, how it was tamed, and that it's no longer available.

I named it Lumpy, btw. Everyone loves Lumpy.

Im so depressed, the day I got 80 I decided to check if he was tameable. But the quest wasn't up, checked the next day it was. I got so excited that I might have my very own slime! But then it "Creature not tameable" I checked beastlore and it said he was tameable. I switched to BM just to check and tried again. Still the same error. I got so depressed I ticketed a GM and they confirmed he was patched. Im still upset to this day. :'(

same for me =( and seeing tht this isnt the first pet they did this too, it wont be the last either, so if u ever find somthing unique, get it while u can.
thinking about oil stained wolfs/birds/whatevers =) etc

I only just found out about this pet and that he is no longer tameable (yes behind the times I know)

I don't mind that he was fixed and only Hunters that tamed him pre-patch still have him, much like the Spirit wolf. What I am dissapointed with is the fact that Blizzard didn't do this with Garwhal :(

A pity no undead hunter can tame this pet, at least without faction/race change and he had that pet already tamed in wotlk.

I'm going to make a wild guess...

With the hint that Gnomes will be able to be Hunters in the near future, I'm thinking they will make these sludge's available to tame again, and it will be the starter pet for Gnomes.

Cmon Blizz make it happen!

Guess i'm a bit late on the ball - however I do have some information not appearing here (yet).. the battle pet/companion pet 維希度斯淤泥怪 has the same color/model as this hunter pet.

Alternatively, 虛無生靈，虛無之後裔 also has the same model as 庫蘇之靈 and 維希度斯淤泥怪, but is blue instead of green.

That being said, i've named my Spirit of Koosu "Goop" and my Viscidus Globule "Doop" (after a Marvel comics character (who oddly enough is a total ripoff of "Slimer" from Ghostbusters).

Patch 7.0.3, Legion about to launch, and I'm so glad I still have this pet. I've faction changed, server changed, done arenas (which clear pet buffs) and every time I've been worried about losing this guy, but after all this time it seems like he's going to stay. I'm not sure Blizzard would ever make actually slimes tameable, seeing as they aren't really beasts, but you never know.

The only other kind of exclusive-pet like this that I've seen people with (and didn't have removed from them) is the Stunted Direhorn from the Isle of Giants in Pandaria.

Just seen a gnome hunter sporting this as his/her pet, they named it "Yuk", I just couldn't resist to compliment the player on having one of these guys.

Was in the area taming Spirit of the North and thought I might try Koosu as well - didn't work. Hoping Blizz might review it after all these years, a lot has changed since Wrath.
