She and her brother Orsonn are children of Ursoc the Mighty, an Eternal and twin of Ursol the Wise. Both Ursoc and Ursol died in the War of the Ancients fighting the Burning Legion, but somehow Ursoc is back and currently "corrupted"; he was raised from the dead by the Grizzlemaw Furbolgs who worshipped him, but they used the magic of the "failed" World Tree Vordrassil.

It appears that the corrupted Ursoc can be defeated and somehow cleansed .

This bear is a possible reference to Koda, the little bear character in one of Disney's animated movies, Brother Bear.

Although older, he posseses the same color as the little cub.
