These little guys pull with their mother bear. It was actually a little disturbing in Wrath Beta to tame the cub and watch as it turned around and attacked its mother.

(EDIT: Was made untameable in live, but I'll keep the bottom line for posterity)

I'm loving running around the beta with it. So many people have stopped what they're doing just to /pat or /hug my doofy little bear cub pet. And the noises it makes are hilarious!

Saddest thing ever happened today...

I was out to tame a bear and I came across the Arctic Grizzly. It just so happened that this little bugger was accompanying it, so after I tamed it's mother, my new bear killed it's abandoned cub. One of the horrors of WoW today when a mother thunderstomps her own child to protect a stocky, bald, and bearded dwarf.

I drowned myself a few minutes later in the waterfall above the Pits of Nazjun...

Peewee672, that is seriously sad. v.v HOW COULD YOU! You should have put it immediately on passive so it didn't do that. Poor cub... Q_Q

According to the percentages, they have a 1.2% chance of dropping an Arctic Fur - seems pretty good to me. Just as long as you kill yourself inside slightly each time you skin one :D

Tamed this poor guy's mother today. Soon after she turned around and killed him.

Not wanting to waste it, I skinned the bear and turned him eventually into a bag.

That bag is now used to hold mommy's food.

Which is bear meat.
