I agree that this must have been nerfed - I killed all elemental on the beach and in the cave and collected 6 Crystal Earths and 3 of those were mined from the corpses. Respawn is not very good either. This is incredibly frustrating - I need 13 eternal earths to level my BS ... that's 130 crystal versions and I cannot for the life of me find anything that drops this stuff with any degree of acceptable drop rates. I remember in the previous patch days, I used to dump these because they were soooo common and worthless. Now they want over 100g for 1 eternal on my server and the crystals sell for a ridiculous price as well.

They say something in a language marked Titan. I saw "Faralos tiriosh archimtiros." I don't think there's any way to translate this, but it's still interesting.

Edit: I did a quest that let me speak titan, and they seem to be saying "Brontes sees all." Going to keep questing and see if I can find out who Brontes is.

Edit 2: Finished all the quests in the area. No answer.

Area has been nerfed into the ground. I did get i think it was three of the crystallized earth but most of the iron rune golems were unlootable!

Just killed 20, only 3 could be looted.

The Iron Rune Golems can't always be looted, but if you have mining this is still a fine farming opportunity. In 15 minutes on 5/31/2016 I made 17 Crystallized Earth by killing and mining them along with the earth elementals nearby. Definitely a good alternative to the absurd auction costs.
