The character reminds me of both Eris Morn and Xûr from the Destiny franchise. During Legion there was a cross-over, when 瑟里歐斯 sold Destiny themed items for curious coins.

Anakron also suspiciously sounds a lot like 安納克羅斯, a Bronze Dragonflight dragon who was a vendor in Season of Discovery, trading gear in exchange for curiousities and part of the Atiesh questline.

Add that to the the Mind-Seekers hint. and I suspect Anakron may lead us (or just sell) towards certain vanity items or perhaps even Legendary gear pieces.

Once on the quest 後會有期, there is an extra dialogue option:

🗨️ I guess this is goodbye.

<The hooded supplier seems confused.>

Is that some sort of threat?

The player can respond with:

🗨️No. I'm just saying goodbye before the timeline collapses.

OR

🗨️When I make a threat you'll know.

... but both just lead to him saying: "Noted."
