We have had a lot of trouble with these, they tended to charge our healers even if tanked.

Key is for all to stand too close to be charged until the Beast-Tamer is down, then nuke any enraged sporebat down while CCing any that isn't enraged already.

You may want to just nuke these guys first, since you're close anyways - it really doesn't make much difference as we don't really see the other mobs in the group as much of a threat, as long as they are tanked away from the main pack.

I just tamed 1 of these guys after dying twice just getting into the damn raid. (I've only been to Coilfang Reservoir 2x & was summoned both times so didn't know where the entrance was.)

Lvl 90 BM hunter.

With legendary cape AoE proc, the 1st 2 sporebats next to trash were killed instantly so for the next round of trash, I put a freezing trap right in front/on top of the sporebat I wanted to tame & as soon as it got frozen the other mobs rushed towards me & I just backed up to where my AoE's wouldn't hit the frozen sporebat, killed the mobs easily then ran to the frozen sporebat & hit tame.

This is for people like me who have never been to Serpentshrine Cavern on your own. Really hope this helps! =]
