Just so you know...you CAN NOT spec in BM the 51 points, tame an exotic, then respec to MM, like I did, and expect to continue using the exotic pet...respeccing out of the 51 pt BM makes the exotics UNUSABLE :(

LAME! I specced 51 into marksman and got Chimera Shot. And then when I respecced, the ability was removed! Respeccing out of the 51 pt MM makes the ability UNUSABLE :(

"Spawn of Uvuros" is NOT tamable as a non BM hunter in case of any confusion. As syllabear stated, it is a regular mob, 69 non-elite but it is still considered an exotic.

Tamed this guy on my hunter, was lv 69 at the time, wanted a sick skin for a pet, remebered this guy. I happend to see 2 spawns of Uvuros, he is in the dead center of Shadowmoon Valley, now due to some patches, this guy is the Exact same as Uvuros, when Uvuros is tamed, he is no longer elite. So dont waste time and gold for repairs getting Uvuros, this guy is the exact same. Not sure if they changed that in patch 3.3. Good luck with him!-Sharpster Fizzcrank BE Hunter.

One major difference between uvuros and spawn of uvuros is that the spawn has a damage rating of 267-316 and uvuros is well over 2200, i dont remeber the exact number but its like ten times higher, i was unable to get him cuzz he kept casting fear, im at lvl 70 right now im going to try again in 3 or 4 levels. If you can get the Big Uvuros, it would be much better than the spawn....GL Hunters..

Went to tame on of these and saw uvuros was a beast. Used beast lore and thought maybe i had misread something and he was the only tamable green core hound. Well, after finding a spawn of uvuros very close by, i mounted up and jumped of the cliff to his left, on my land mount. came back and the stupid spawn had been killed... >< gg vrim... gg

Had him in WOTLK and as much as I liked him, I had to dismiss him because of the very very annoying stomping noise it made. Guess others felt the same... started playing again, MOP, just got him and he's nice and quiet. :D
