I tried to summon Goc laster night and today and you CAN summon him. This is on Ragnaros server EU.

You can solo him easy, just let the npc tank but you need to do alot of dps! But the downstide is that you wont get quest complete. I tried to invite a friend who was in Terokkar forest, still not complete. I invited 2 others that were aswell trying to kill Goc and I got quest complete.

He spawned correctly, and with a group of 3 (shadowpriest, moonkin, fury warrior) we were able to kill him easy before Rexxar would have died.

2/16 The quest wasn't bugged and could be completed

03/11 Worked fine, NPC spawned and did his job. Goc kicks quite hard so a healer or lots of bandages is needed. Very cool fight to look at when NPC transforms :-)

April 10th, still bugged. Talked to a GM about it, they are working on the issue.

It's only bugged if you don't kill him quick enough. Soloing it as a Holy Paladin, I killed him 5 times (Sable had about 3-5% Hp left) and I don't get the "Goc Slain" to register. If you are not a DPS class, try to bring a friend so you don't waste your time.

Easily soloed by lvl 68 lock. Just let Rexxar tank, dot him all the time and shadowbolt quite often, but don't aggro him. He died when Rexx was about 15-20%.

easy to solo for a fury warrior.. always use demoralizing shout and let the mob tank him

It's actually not that thin of a line between letting the NPC tank and pulling aggro. Ranged can do up to 130% of a tank's threat before pulling aggro, and every melee class has a reduced threat modifier of about 30%. Of course, none of that is an issue anyway if you just get a second person.

Solo'd as a 70 BM Hunter, 3/5 T5...as long as you let Rexxar get about 10 seconds of aggro, this should be no problem for any competent player.

BM Hunters, be careful about going all out. Maybe separate BW and RF with an FD.

Anyway, Rexxar does a good job tanking, along with his pets. Fun kill.

Solo'd as a lvl 68 ice mage post-3.0 accidentally pulled aggro off rex just ib'd it till he got it back, then had to invis to drop some more aggro but other than those small problems ez mode.

soloed as a 70 hunter raid geared. You dont need a tank, or heals, just dps the crap out of him, but watch ure aggro.

I just got this quest and literally I had to do nothing - the Baron gave it and instantly he went to ? with the normal text about how bravely I fought etc... except I didn't. I assume it's bugged.

I just solo'ed this quest on the first try. The key is to time your CD's so you are popping 4k and 5k crits every few seconds. I did this as a tankadin, and used this combo:
1 avenger's shield
2 crusader strike
3 judgement (if not on CD)
4 crusader strike
5 hammer of the righteous
6 shield of the righteous

rinse and repeat

Just solo'ed it with a lvl 65 diszi priest. After all Ive read here it was surprisingly easy. Ended with full life and half mana, never caught aggro.

Easily easily soloed this guy as a protectection Warrior lvl. 64 with no problem, didnt drop below 75%, I even tanked and just had minion for DPS so i dont know why people are so crazy bout this guy.

Can only be summoned by using 沙伯邁恩的徽記/雷克薩的戰爭號角 at the Altar of Goc. The co-ordinations in TomTom: /way 64.17, 18.55
