These guys suck if you're a rogue or other class depending on very rapid melee strikes.

They have what amounts to a permanent thorns aura, that causes 39 nature damage every strike.

Either pile on the nature resist, or bring along a lot of food - you'll be eating plenty.

thorn hurts you bad if you are a rogue. Don't use slice and dice.

I would think Nature Resistance Totem and Aspect of the Wild would work pretty well against the Thornfang Ravagers and Thornfang Venomsplitters, seeing that the Thorns effect is causing Nature damage.

Just Tested. Nature Resistance Totem does not reduce damage.
Dmg before Totem: 39-40
Dmg after Totem: 39-40

Sad but true. Because of this i dont expect Aspect of the Wild would work either.
