Found this guy in the Ohn'ahran plains, looks like a horned spectral mushan beast. I had the buff to see spirits from a hut at 85.72, 20.81 (to get buff click the small purple pile on the table to the left inside the door) Having this buff is required to see the mob.

Found him pathing around 66, 43

GL to you BM hunters, he's tamable and a spirit beast :)

I'm so sad I clicked the purple thing and flew over and he was there but it's level 65 which I am not so another tamed him. Hoping the spawn timer is not crazy long T^T

This big guy has a very cool visual effect; he's almost entirely transparent. No ghostly aura like the usual ghost mobs either. Definitely an eye catching pet...if you can even see it. It's practically invisible when you have it in stealth.

Tamed mine around 12:50am(my time) saw him again around 4:20am.
I'm guessing 2~6 hours respawn timer?

Found him after an hour and a half of waiting. Once you have the dust from (85,20) he is very visible. I found him on the shore line walking up toward the plain (67,42)

If you are feeling particularly bold and he is not up, try toggling War Mode and going back to check. He wasn't up when I had it off, so I went back to my capital, turned it on, and returned and there he was. It's worth a shot if you'd rather not wait!

Love it, finally a new spirit beast. Tamed 2 asap. Fished in the area till #2 spawned after 30 minutes.
Even from the river side my SilverDragon addon triggered as it spawned.

Got "Bloodgullet" Sprit Beast today at 17:00 realm time (Argent Dawn EU) at /way 66.9 42.6 Ohn'ahran Plains

"Bloodgullet" retains his original name after taming. Look pretty amazing and quite big.

My War Mode was off and I had the Essence of Awakening buff on me, which can be get at /way 85.7 20.8 Ohn'ahran Plains
(pink substance inside the hut). Happy hunting fellow beast master hunters.

Def can be longer than 30 mins. I have been waiting for 45 as of writing this comment, with the buff, and he has yet to spawn yet for me.

just here to say its not a 30 min spawn timer, people have GOD luck, ive been trying to farm is for 7-8 hours, and not a single one has been spotted. but we keep on keeping on

Fastest way to tame is (after you get the purple buff) goto his location just below the Maruukai flight point goto group finder and look for premade then look under quests for people questing in the zone on different server took me about 5 different groups and 5 minutes to tame 2 after trying on my own server for 3 hours

make a macro /target bloodgullet it will target him anywhere basically just join group hit macro and profit

on a side note, he lose his transparency while bestial wrath is active. don't know if that's intended but that, pared with the size of it, makes it a pain for meeles

Looks to be about a 1 or 2 hour respawn. Tracking Beast in the area makes it for an easy find, will be the only Agro Beast around, should show up as only red dot on map in the area where it should spawn.

Tamed on a 64 hunter with warmode off. Waited almost 5 hours and came back after about an hour before bed and he was walking down by the turtles close to the river.

You don't have to fly to the hut to get the buff - you can use an item that you can purchase from the AH or from the Centaur Quartermaster called Essence of Awakening.

I got the buff from that item and found Bloodgullet close to the water just past the spirit stone under the tree. approx 65, 44

My pro tip: log in between 07:00 and 08:00 AM

I camped him for hours the last few nights, but no luck.

I logged in this morning before work and there he was. Then I join a custom group for the Hunt and teleported to another realm, and boom there he was again. So now I got two of them by my side!

I added a custom NPC to Silverdragon / Rarescanner and made a macro to target the Spirit Beast and dropped it on my dragon flying bar so it was easily spamable.

Logged on before work first thing in the morning and went to see if this guy was up. Made my way over (getting the buff first) and found him walking along the shore next to the turtles. I actually saw him before my RareScanner went off. Got him tamed at 8am server time, WM off. I then went realm-hopping for a while to see if I could grab another one but didn't have any luck.

EDIT: Went realm-hopping another few times and managed to find him again at 8.30am server time. I was originally only looking for raid groups as other comments have indicated this needs to be the case but I decided to just join random groups that weren't in a raid and the 2nd group I joined he was there. This time he was walking up the hill from the shore.

If you're having difficulty finding him I would definitely suggest trying early morning and realm-hopping a few times.

Just tamed him today! HUGE beast. Check him out on your character login screen - he's so awesome looking! Takes up half the screen!

Found him on the shoreline in the spot marked on the map above, where that little tag of land that juts out to the river- there's a tree there that has an Ancient Tablet on it - he was walking around right in front of that. Took about 2.5 hours of camping, but you can farm a lot of leather and scales around there to kill time and level up your skinning. Mostly just turtles and the buffalo beasts. Bloodgullet is a red hostile beast, so he will attack if he gets close enough. He didn't break the tame though - I didn't even use a trap. Good Luck Hunters!

At max level, Bloodgullet has the following abilities:

Spirit Walk - Instant - 10 sec CD
Puts your pet into stealth mode, but slows its movement speed by 50%. The first attack from stealth receives a 20% bonus from damage. Lasts until cancelled.

Spirit Mend - Instant - 30 sec CD - 25 yard range
The Spirit Beast heals the current friendly target for 4,712 plus an additional 15,550 over 10 sec.

Spirit Pulse - Instant - 10 sec CD
A pulse of spirit energy releases from the Spirit Beast, remove 1 Disease, Magic, and Poison effect from itself.

When you join a group in the same zone from a leader in a different server, you will server hop (change realm).
I've tried this and got 2 x Bloodgullet in about 20 minutes for both of them.

To see Bloodgullet, you will need to first touch the "Essence of Awakening" found in Ohn'ahran Plains at: /way 85.7 20.8 (inside a basket in a tent)
Once you have touched it, it will give you a 60 minute buff where you can see spirits in this area of the map.

Head to Bloogullet's location at: /way 67.39 44.06
approx, he'll be hanging around

If you can't find it on your server, try to phase yourself by joining a group on another server :)

I just got him instantly, no wait, but I am pretty sure I was just lucky. I switched War Mode to see if I could tame him again and he's not around.
Switched back. He respawned at the 50 minute mark.

1st - Go get the Essence of Awakening buff to see spirits from a hut at /way 85.72, 20.8. It lasts an hour.
2nd - Go to /way 67.04, 43.67.

There is an Ancient Stone that says:

When standing by this stone you get a buff called Emerald Presence. It doesn't seem to have any affects and goes away as soon as you step away.

I use this target macro. He was right there on the river. I think he may patrol a little bit. If he isn't there, try switching your war mode.

Just tamed Bloodgullet x 2 as a lvl 62 hunter. Got the essence, went to the spot others have mentioned, realm hopped (as it was not up on my server), tamed the 1st, realm hopped again to tame the second. There are usually groups doing "fields of ferocity" quests or hunts.

waited few hours with WM on, till some dkheads camped me, so i turned WM off. then waited 8 hours with it off..... after the buff wore off, went to capital city, turned WM on then got buff again and was up when i got there.

I waited about 20 minutes and it spawned near the stone instead of the marker on the map. Definitely use a /target macro so you DO NOT miss it.

I tried taming 3 different days, 3 different time spans and there were no spawns. I tamed it after server reset on Tuesday. It was up as soon as the server was back.

Update: Finally found 2 back to back by using the Group Finder. I can also confirm it's tamable at level 60 woot woot!

Just tamed by the stone tablet mentioned. Get the buff, start flipping through realms and eventually he will be right there. Took me around 5 mins from start to finish. Good luck all.

Currently Bloodgullet loses it's transparent appearance while Bestial Wrath is active. I'm not sure if that's a bug or an intended visual change.

FYI, you have to be a minimum of level 65 to tame this guy. I tried it at 60 and he showed to be level 65. :(

The best thing about this guy is that he's invisible unless you use that funky centaur dream dust. It means that more often than not he'll be up and running around when you come looking for him, unlike spirit beasts in past expansions.

Confirmed after taming 2 and helping a friend tame his 2; the spawn timer after last tame 7hours. If youre wanting not to wait for the spawn timer; i suggest server hopping for chance of the beast to be up & ready for tame.

100% Switch Between War Mode and non War Mode.
Go back and forth between Valdrakken and MaruuKai
Just keep switching and going back and forth I popped one up in 5 mins.
Now i am getting a matching set.

I tamed this Spirit Beast today. I would periodically check his spawning location every once in awhile and he would never be there. Today I used Awakening Essence, an item that lets you see invisible NPC's in Ohn'ahran Plains and POOF he was there. Tamed him ASAP. I'm not sure if you really need Awakening Essence in order to see him or if he just spawned out of coincidence, but that's what I did and it worked for me. Best of luck!

Tamed him today 24/07/2023 on Outland EU at 22:37PM server time.

I went and got the 甦醒精華 buff located at /way 85.7 20.8 Ohn'ahran Plains,
it's inside the hut on the left, and then came down to the coastline and luckily I found him straight away at /way 67.12, 43.51 Ohn'ahran Plains.

I server hopped while my friend remained in the zone. She was in a NA server, and the server that 'worked' was one of my Oceana servers.

I would log in, fly to the zone, just to make sure i was 'registered' in the zone then invite friend. Took 5 server changes, No I dont have a problem, just because I have toons on 12 servers. lol. Welllll perhaps a slight one. :D

These tomtom co-ords will be handy.

Essence to see spirits, and location of said beastie.

No Warmode, no raid, just the standard team of 2. So server hopping by whatever means works well. We just did it slightly differently to looking for groups.

Got 2 of these today within an hour of reset. 1st one with war mode off, 2nd one right after turning war mode on. I had my target/mark/sound macro primed and found him immediately.

Confirming location is spot on.

I searched for an hour, tried hopping server, swapping war mode, etc- didnt seem to work.

However, came back an hour later and got him. Stopped by a few hours later- got another one!

One thing that made this WAY WAY easier was setting up a macro "tar bloodgullet" - added it to my flight menu and just clicked as i flew by - instantly found him!

Get Essence of Awakening buff and go to bloodgullet location.

Waited for 2 hours without WM - nothing. Went to Valdrakken turn WM on and came back to spot, BOOM there she is! 100% on WM confirmed. GL ALL!

Wanted to add a word of caution since I haven't seen this mentioned yet.

If you enjoy the visuals of 凶暴獸欄雕紋 like I do be aware that Bloodgullet loses the spectral/ghostly visual effect on his model when summoned indirectly through Kill Command (Dire Command) or Dire Beast

Just an update on the repawn timer as of early Midnight: I got the buff, tamed him immediately (at level 21), then flew to Valdrakken to juggle my low-level stable, got distracted with a few other things, then flew back and tamed him again (to have a matching set - because of course I did, with 11 minutes to spare before my buff wore off. So he respawned in less than 50min.
