Killed him on a level 7 Mage, but was a tough fight. Had to pick off the two level 7's near him myself by running into the sea, sitting until me health and mana was up, killing one, and running off, followed by repeating. When he was alone, he doesn't chase, as he is a caster, so Frostbolt is uneeded. Just nuke him down with Fireball. He started to panic, and run around for me, but not sure if that is intentional, as there was no message. Finally killed with off with a Fire Blast. He dropped 10c, and Cranial Thumper.

At low health he can run away phasing through the back wall of his shell house, impassable for the player.
