This dragon involved at the end will summon 2-3 ? waves of 4 Dragonkin, then he himself will land. He has a nasty Curse that does a lot of damage per tick, but otherwise hes a standard Tank and Spank encounter.

I tanked him (68 prot pally) and we burned him down relatively easily (68 arms warrior, 67 priest, 66 druid and 66 hunter)

After the dragon is dead this instance/quest is over and rewards like 17,900 xp at level 68

Sorry not to say this IS Erozion but this is the Epoch Hunter you must kill to complete Erozion's quest

Been standing around for a while....its 6 am...I highly doubt anyone has been by to kill him before I got here...still he's not here...this BETTER count towards Loremaster of Kalimdor!

Just made an elaborate breakfast, NPC still isnt here....perhaps its a 24 hour spawn?

When i entered the instance and walked down the hall I found him at 28.98 48.37

I know that outside the instance you can also see a question mark on your minimap but that is the wrong one

In case anyone has this happen to them-- if you finish it but Erozion doesn't spawn by the epoch hunter, you can leave and reset it and he will be by the door and you can turn it in. :)

From reading what taretha says, I think Erozion was the mage who trapped her in the shadow prison and the epoch hunter is his corrupted self.

After the final boss he offered to 'return me to my own time' when on my female human paladin. When I went back with my male human rogue for the leatherworking plan he refused to offer me a lift. #Sexist NPC.
