I came across this guy while on my 57 Subtlety Rogue.

After contemplating my chances of killing him, I decided I'd try it despite expecting to get destroyed.

He destroyed me.

He can see through stealth quite easily, but if you are very careful, you can move in behind him while he is going up the stairs.

It took 3 tries, but I managed to kill him with 83 health left at the end.

I had to use dynamite, a healing potion, a bandage, Blind, Dismantle, and Gouge every time it was ready.

Don't expect to beat this guy easily, though I suspect he isn't anywhere near as hard for a Pally tank or DK.

Still a Silver Elite, as of 10/29/09. He totally sodomized my rogue... I dodged the gold elite, came into the tower thinking i was safe, and he was waiting on the bottom floor. I got him down about a third before i had to pop a vanish. Thought I'd be safe halfway up the tower, tried to heal, and he followed me up...no vanish this time...

Got my corpse back, climbed the tower and he was up there. I went around one side, he went around the other, and he never attacked me. I proceeded to jump down and gank a pally to soothe the memories of it...

Randomly killed it, he shouted something and found out there was a typo in it.

"She-wtich abbendis" was in that sentence. Obvious the witch part is spelled wrong. Made a screenie aswell.

The Scarlet Executioner is one of the few remaining living Scarlet Crusade members left in the Western Plaguelands.

The Scarlet Executioner can be found in one of two locations. One location is near a pair of ballistas at the beginning of the road leading up to Hearthglen. The second location is near a broken ballista, just north the Mender's Stead. He shares a spawn point with the Scarlet Smith

Upon confrontation, he will yell: "Finally out from under the boot of that she-witch Abbendis, and free to persue my own interests: BLOOD, BLOOD, AND MORE BLOOD!"

They must have nerfed him tremendously (or y'all stats sucked... and it's probably the former) cause as a level 38 druid healer I had no trouble with him or any of the other mobs in this area and I got over 3k XP from this dude. No typo there... over three thousand experience points. So yeah... nerf city? I'd guess so... cause if not, I don't know what kind of trash gear people are using lol
