Although he doesn't seem to have as much health as the bosses of the previous fights, his armor value must be larger because he was definitely the tougher opponent. It takes more time for him to die, and he resurrects himself once after dying, so your group tank has to be ready to attain aggro for DPS classes to take him down.

His Chain Lightning ability can be devastating, so be careful if your health pool is small.

He does NOT give a SS after either death. So soul drain isnt worth doing

Warriors who are tanking should use their reflect spell ability when he casts chain lightning, not only does this save your party's health who are in range, it does a large chunk of damage to him.

If you have a healing reduction effect on him, like mortal strike, when he reincarnates, he will pop up with 50% hp

If you have a Rogue in your group, be sure to have them use Wound Poison. Mogor will self-rez after his first defeat and Wound Poison stacked five times will cause him to ressurect to only 50% health instead of 100%!

He hits very hard and throws chain lightning that hitted me for 1890 (as a frost mage whith 890 armor). when he has been killed he will ressurect and become enraged. after he has been killed the 2nd time the quest should be completed.

I am 65 lvl red pally i tried do him with 70 lvl druid maybe best healer at my server , lvl 70tank full S3 10k HP ,hunter lvl 70 gladiator set,67 frost mage and we die..

Chain Lightning is easy to avoid. If you are a melee dps, simply stay exactly behind him, you will never be hit by the spell. For ranged, keep him at your maximum range and stay apart from each other.

Did it today after 4 wipes in a group: feral druid lvl 65 (tank), hunter lvl 67, warrior lvl 66, resto druid lvl 70 and balance druid lvl 67 (as off-healer). First phase is a simple one but second is a real challenge. The key was to use 2 healers to heal the tank and even in this case we had 2 wipes. Requires a lot of intensive healing therapy (the best was to use various healing spells to establish a steady healing stream) and tons of buffs on casters and tank.

70 feral 70 resto and 65 mage were able to 3 man it today.

Given, the druids were in t6, but none-the-less it was really easy, easier than I remember it being on my first character and a lot easier than these posts make it sound <.<

For anyone who wants to get the achievement for completing the Ring of Blood + Amphitheater of Anguish, this chain of quests is easily soloable at lvl 80.

I was able to complete all the quests without any problems on a lvl 80 rogue wearing blues from leveling. The worst it got was having to use a healing potion I got from the quest on Mogor.

The poisons trick still works like a charm, did it last night having our rogue apply dual wound poison. Made a very difficult fight rather simple for our group, highly reccomend finding a rogue if your having trouble.

Currently, it doesn't seem like this final boss can be completed with an at-level party. He has an uninterruptable healing spell that heals to full each and every time, and he cannot be stunned either. We tried for 10 minutes to kill him, and every time he healed to full, even when he was 'OOM.'

We finally had to call for a high level friend to come kill the mob, otherwise couldn't complete the quest. Our group consisted of a 77 mistweaver monk, 76 blood death knight, and a 76 frost mage.
