He wasnt aware that what his father "grom hellscream" did what (WC3 - Founding Kalimdor cinematic. Thrall and Grom vs Mannoroth). After completing "greatmother" chain Thrall let him to see that on a vision. He find himself again a hellscream & warsong clan. So, he'll led his ppl to Northrend and fight against to the Burning Legion in Wotlk.

I just got in there on my human priest. He is not attackable - when you hover over him, no sword appears. Sorry, but he is not supposed to die now, he has a greater role to play ;)

Edit: You can't attack Thrall and his grandmother either.

He will be one of the leaders that leads the Horde forces to Notherend in Wrath of the Lich King. He'll still be in the chain of events in Nagrand, but he will also appear as a Major Boss / NPC in Northerend as a major leader as said in this Lore.

As of the recent 3.0.2 patch, you are able to see the healthpoints of your friends or foes!

I'm going to assume that Garrosh has around 24 million stamina.

Nah. He's got 4050 health. This makes him the weakest Level ? (Boss) I've ever seen. For the Horde. :(

In one of the events leading up to the release of The Wrath of the Lich King, he challenges Thrall after a disagreement about sending forces up to Northrend.

Garrosh and Thrall go at it in the Ring of Valor, with Garrosh winning. However, they are interrupted at the end by Saurfang who states that Orgrimmar is now under attack by the Lich King's forces.

He's in the new Ulduar trailer alongside with Thrall, although i'm a proud member of the Horde this foolish orc is too self-minded to realize the dangers of the continuation of war between the Horde and Alliance whilst dealing with other matters of greater importance.

This disgrace of an orc is absolutely the worst thing that could've ever happened to the horde. Not only does he threaten to undo the brittle diplomacy that Thrall worked so hard to build, but he is quite honestly the most fool-hardy tactician i've ever seen.
If only Mannoroth could've killed of this angsty little #$%^er instead of Grom, the world would be a better place.

Garrosh was (at least in Nagrand) a very honorable but depressed figure. I can see why he would be depressed, seeing his father as the corrupted orc that slaughtered thousands, but not seeing him as the orc that saved millions. But now in Wotlk, I wanna kick him in the crotch.

This guy makes me angry even in Burning Crusade. I spend a couple hours slaughtering Kil'sorrow Orcs and Ogres, and risk my neck trying to negotiate a peace treaty, and when Garrosh gets it, he brushes it off.

Your speech is inspirational and sounds great, but when it comes up against the cold, hard wall of logic and reality, it shatters.

Under your argument, a bad leader, not one you disagree with but one that is actually bad at what they do, is a regrettable situation but one that requires the same amount of honor and servitude as a good one. You say that anyone who would leave the Horde under Garrosh's rule shows their true colors, that they simply can't handle the struggle of fighting for what they believe even through hard times. Bad times and bad leadership calls for good soldiers more than any other time, you seem to say.

What a horrible, nightmarish world you would have us live in.

Leaders get their power from those they follow. Being the strong fist of the Horde when wielded by a thoughtless savage like Hellscream makes you no less of a beast than he, even if you soften the blow without his knowing. The idea that "If I don't do it, someone else will," is a fallacy, a rationalization used to excuse your own weakness in not standing up for what you believe. Simply extend the train of thought farther than the idea that one man leaving a good organization or nation gone bad and make it ten men. Or a hundred. Or a thousand. Or all of them.

Even soldiers have free will: the will to decide who to give their loyalties to, the will to decide whose orders to obey. If every soldier used their own brain to decide what to do on any given situation, they wouldn't be soldiers. But if they don't use their own morality to decide what orders they'll follow, and under whose banner they'll march... they're not anything. They're empty shells just waiting to be filled with the whims of a madman, ready to forever plead innocence with the age-old excuse, "I was just following orders."

For those of us who know that evil can wear any face and come with the best of intentions, we'll continue to stand true to one tenet: No sovereign but reason.

I hadn't noticed many NPC names in BC (because I never liked BC) so I never noticed Garrosh here & When he became Warchief I wondered why he was tan & not green Like the other orcs.
This would explain it.

They could've at least gone back and made the Garrosh models match. The new Garrosh of Orgrimmar is many levels of plastic surgery and steroid use gone from this one with his gigantic shoulders and shrunken head.

Why the heck doesn't he have more health? Buff Garrosh and make him a PvP boss, attacking any nearby alliance! (Then Garadar might actually be a little more save place to stay.. though i'd probably still cheer for the alliance, if they'd ever make a 40 man raid against him) - but the point, he is a Hellscream.
