Summon Thorns – On the two pedestals in front of Laj a Thorn Lasher or Thorn Flayer will spawn and attack the party.

Strategy

Laj is a fairly simple fight, we will tank him where he stands, place one ranged dps party member on each pedestal in front of Laj that way once the Thorn is killed their damage can immediately be redirected to Laj. Aside from Laj’s friends that spawn he has Allergic Reaction, a fairly nasty disease that can infect nearby allies, as long as it is removed and his friends are dealt with this fight will be over before we know it.

Boss is currently bugged.

This Blood Elf Protectors fighting the mutants stay at 1 hp and do not die.

We managed to kill him, while bugged.

Let the protectors kill the adds first (as they won't go below 1%, the adds will die eventually). Then you need to crowd control them during the fight (we had a mage/lock do this, with the occasional pally stun). Then finish of the boss, he's not that hard, follow the tactic described above.

Attacking Laj on it's pedestal works just fine, just don't run off and agro the two Blood Elves. We dropped Laj where it stands, had a Hunter pull the spawns off towards the entrance with no issues.

Running clockwise around the room to bypass the elves works perfect - thanks for the tip!

There is another and easier way to kill him. Go stand in the middle of the doorway that you came in to get into this room (get your tank to pull him back) If you stand there, there is a glitch and he wont regenerate when he teleports back to his starting area. Also you very rarely get attracted by his little plant friends

tank him around the corner out of LOS and he is a cake walk.

Confirmed - you can pull laj LoS at the doorway corner and when he respawns he will come back at you with-out health regeneration - and on top of that you will not have to deal with his plant friends until you fully heal and enter Laj's original room.

On a side note, I don't know if it is bugged, but currently his Allergic Reaction is a buff, not a debuff, and can just be clicked off by anyone who gets it.

Apparently, the last time I did this guy I got d'ced before entering his room. I came back to find our group nearly wiped with only the mage living and Laj at 5%. Easy kill, though I forgot the fight worked.

Apparently this boss has insane shadow resistance. I fought him with my shadow priest, and a third of my spells were totally resisted, and none of them did full damage.
