The absolute best strategy to defeat all pets, if you don't have a large roster or are new to pet battles, is to use an entire team of level one pets, as these legendary pets scale with your pet's level. When the pet is scaled to your level at level one, it loses most of its abilities and difficulty.

To easily defeat all pets, simply use three level one pets that are strong against the pet's family type.

Iron Starlette with Wind-Up and Explode

There are two scenarios for this;
1- Valkyr doesn't die after UA
2- Valkyr dies after UA

If Valkyr dies after UA:

5-) Flock
Ikky dies Puppy goes in
6-) Bark

If Valkyr doesn't die after UA
1-) Curse of Doom

I did this twice and both time i killed it without any problems.

Edit: Now that i think of it you can use some other 25 Rare pet to finish him off instead of Molten Corgi.

As someone that doesn't have a lot of pets I decided to use a strategy that involved pets that most people have access to in max level.

Mini Mindslayer 1/x/2
Chrominius 1/1/2
Abyssal Slitherling 2/x/x

Lead with Mindslayer: 1 - 3 - 2 - Pass until he kills you
Chrominius: 1 (if he didn't use Locust Swarm), 2 if he did - 3 - Bite until you die
Abyssal Slitherling: 1 until he dies.

Won with this consistently 10 times in a row.

Here is a two pet strategy that I used multiple times successfully. Both of these pets can be caught in the wild.

Nether Faerie Dragon 2,2,1; S/S breed
Blighted Squirrel 2,1,2; P/B breed

Start with Nether Faerie Dragon (NFD)

1) Moonfire
2) Life Exchange
3) Pass (Aqir Sandcrawler is underground)
4) Arcane Blast
5) Moonfire
6) NFD dies, enter Blighted Squirrel
7) Woodchipper
8) Stampede
9) Stampede continues, Squirrel 'dies' and resurrects, Aqir Sandcrawler dies

This is subject to some RNG. However, crits before the Life Exchange actually help.
I didn't try any other breeds, but all Blighted Squirrel breeds are Power based, so they should work.
I had another 'critter killer' as the third pet, but never needed it.

I used:
-Unborn Val'kyr (2-2-1)... Found in Dragonblight by the road north of the temple.
-2 Nether Faerie Dragon (2-2-1)... Found in Feralas, all around Dire Maul.

Unborn Val'kyr= Curse of doom, Haunt
Nether Faerie Dragon 1&2= Moonfire, Life exchange, Arcane Blast until dead (unless you're lucky enough to get another moonfire)
If it doesn't die, your Unborn Val'kyr's Shadow Shock will finish it off.

The mob spawning on top of it is a massive pain.

*	奔竄. Very rarely 被感染的松鼠 can die during this 奔竄. But it happens so rarely that I couldn't test this scenario. I saw it only once and couldn't repeat. I would recommend just restart in this case.
*	奔竄. 被感染的松鼠 dies.

The team that finally worked for me was:
Anubashi Idol (Crush, Stoneskin, Deflection)
Grumpy (Bark, Howl, Superbark)
Chi-Chi, Hatchling of Chi-Ji (Alpha Strike, Tranquility, Ethereal)

I used this team for the decreased damage against the boss abilities with humanoid and flying and increased damage against the boss with beast abilities.
Also Anubashi Idol and Chi-Chi, Hatchling of Chi-Ji have abilties which always go first.

I opened with Stoneskin followed by Crush each round until boss went underground at which point i knew it was time to use Deflection to avoid the huge hit from the boss. Then repeated Crush until it was time to refresh Stoneskin and then Crush until the boss used Burrow again which I avoided with Deflection. Then Crush again until Anubashi Idol died to try to get in as much damage as I could before bringing out Grumpy. Grumpy opened with Howl followed by Bark for attack reduction. I lost track of what round I was on so I didn't want to waste Superbark on the boss' Burrow. Grumpy died without using Superbark but got some big damage in prior to pulling out Chi-Chi, Hatchling of Chi-Ji. Chi-Chi has very high speed so I was able to get in Alpha Strike first and get the bonus hit. Then Tranquility which caused me to get hit by Burrow. If I had timed it correctly I could have used Ethereal to avoid Burrow but it didnt matter since the boss was low health. Finished with Alpha Strike till dead.

Be careful. There may be a hard hitting, high HP Aqir Dominator next to Aqir Sandcrawler. You may have to kill it before the pet battle, and you may get a surprise when you finish.

The typical standby Unborn Val'kyr and lil'Bling will work.

Start with Unborn Val'kyr
1. Curse of Doom
2. Haunt
Swap in lil'Bling
1. Extra Plating- this is the extra step that ensures this lineup is successful.
2. Inflation
3. Make it Rain
4. Inflation again because Extra Plating meant all the difference between lil'Bling dying or living long enough to do enough damage.

i simply set up a team of lvl 1 beast pets (just a suggestion to keep it easy for people who are new to pet battles) - no special strategy, abilities or anything else needed.
winning regular lvl 25 fight against this guy can be a real challenge depending on how many pets you already have collected and which of them might be the right ones for this fight - but when you use a Lvl 1 team, he usually dies pretty fast 👻
just make sure that your pet's first attack does a reasonable amount of beast damage.
the winning pets will get a good amount of xp after the fight and eventually level up (speaking of a lvl 1 team).
so it might be a good idea to find a nice team of easy-to-get pets, gather some clones of pet number 3 and simply replace it with a fresh lvl 1, to make sure your enemy doesn't unlock it's next ability --> ❗this is the case as soon as one of your team is level 2 or higher❗ this way you're able to maintain 'easy-mode'.
pet number 3 is usually the only survivor... but if you're lucky and the enemy is almost down while your pets nr. 1 or 2 are still alive, punch him until only one or two attacks are needed to kill him. then start using the 'pass' button to let him kill all pets that were involved in the fight and therefore qualify for XP. finish him with pet nr. 3. always put the cheapest / weakest pet in slot nr. 3, this way you only have to find a replacement for one easy-to-get-pet 😛
💡- works for any level-scaling pet battle, just chose the right type of pet / dmg / resistance for each fight -💡

I have to share this strategy for Aquatic lovers even though there is no achievement for it in Uldum sadly. :/

Bloodseeker with Bloodfang, Bubble and Dive (mine is a P/P variant)
Toothy with Rip, Surge and Blood in the Water
Spiny Terrapin with Bite, Shell Shield and Headbutt (mine is a B/B variant)

Bloodseeker first and use Dive, then Bubble, then Bloodfang. All the abilities will be on CD, so switch to:

Toothy (Snarly or Chuck may also work but I used Toothy) and use Rip, Blood in the Water and then Surge. Toothy will die, so bring on:

Spiny Terrapin and cast Headbutt, Shell Shield, spam Bite and use Headbutt again if its off CD. I got lucky and the first one stunned. Your results may vary here. When Spiny Terrapin dies, switch back to:

Bloodseeker who will benefit from one more block on Bubble, recast Bubble, Bloodfang, Dive and when Dive continues that should do it. Good luck!

Does anyone have a strategy that doesn't involve Unborn Val'kyr? As OP as that pet seems to be (because it's in literally every guide in any pet battle boss comment) not everyone has the pet. It's a pretty tough one to hunt down. Would love to see alternative strategies.

I tried opening the fight with my Unborn Val'kyr, but my plan to use Haunt was scuttled by the Sandcrawler's Burrow (still got off Curse of Doom before she died). Fortunately, my second and third pets were Ikky and Ashmane Cub.

Ashmane Cub - Rampage

Rampage, empowered by Flock's Shattered Defenses, wiped out the Sandcrawler quickly.

Anubisath Idol will do most of the work: sandstorm, deflection, crush, crush, crush, deflection, then repeat for as long as you can. Then a couple of pets with burrow to dodge the locust swarm, but there are probably better options. Easy win either way.

I needed a two pet strategy for the quest Big Bad Beetle as I haven't bothered lvling my Shadowbarb Hatchling yet. This strategy worked for me:

Pet	Abilities
Anubisath Idol	Crush, Sandstorm, Deflection
Void-Scarred Anubisath	Spiritfire Bolt, Sandstorm, Deflection

Keep Sandstorm on CD (Use the ability after the switch to your 2nd pet, even if Sandstorm is already up)
Use Deflection only when the Aqir Sandcrawler dive (aka Burrow). Deflection is always used first so you don't have to worry about it until the Sandcrawler is hiding under the sand.

If you don't have a third pet it's important that Sandstorm hits, I lost when Sandstorm matched up with Dive.

I used two Anubisath Idols and Chrominius to take him down.

Anubisath Idol - Crush, Sandstorm, Deflection
Anubisath Idol - Crush, Sandstorm, Deflection
Chrominius - Bite, Howl, Surge of Power

Use Deflection whenever he casts Locust Swarm. You'll know when he's about to do it because you'll hear and see locusts (sounds like flies) buzzing the turn before he does. Use Sandstorm and Crush until the Idols die. Let Chrominius clean up the mess with Howl and Surge of Power or Bite. Shouldn't be a problem at all. Hope this helps.

Consider sending a well-geared toon who isn't on res sickness. Before I could fight this pet I had to take down two fairly serious Aqir.

Another reliable 2-pet strategy with wild-caught pets:

Viscious Broodling (1,1,1); Leyline Broodling (1,1,1); Third pet

Vicious broodling (P/B)

1. Rend
2. Drain Blood
3. Rend (Aqir burrows)
4. Rend
5. Burrow
6. Drain Blood (if dead by crit here (rare) then restart fight)
8. Rend x2 (Broodling dies)

Leyline Broodling (H/B)
9. Rend (Aqir burrows)
10. Drain Blood
11. Burrow
12. Rend
13. Drain Blood
14. Rend (Aqir usually dies here)

The broodlings only come in one breed per species and order is important for the timing of the Drain Bloods. If you use 2 leyline broodlings make sure to adjust the 3rd Drain Blood to hit after the Aqir burrows.

As with all recent legendary pet battles, this scales with the highest level pet YOU have in your team so it's easier to go in with all level 1 pets, I did this easily with a Wicked Soul, Nightwreathed Watcher, and the Shadowbarb Hatchling (in that order)
Just spam everyone's 1 ability, the Soul and Watcher will die and the Shadowbarb will almost die but still survive.
