Attention rogues, while I was in stealth near this dude, he didn't have the blue circle indicator above his head showing that he can see through stealth, but he still seen through mine and I found out he hits extremely hard. Vanish does work if he catches you though, but get away from him quick if you are able to use it quick enough!

Soul Goliath rare is located in 佐司瓦 Crimson Forest on Kul Tiras isle.
You can find it patrolling around the forest.

As of BETA this rare is lvl 123 and super strong it has a buff called Soul-Bonded that gives it +60% damage done .... personally i would go the opposite direction to this guy

Still supercharged on release. He does not scale with your level at all. He appears to be a mini world boss. I watched a 20 man raid engage him and his health scaled to 4M, and the fight took about 1 min.

How to solo:
Step 1: try to quest/stealth/exist here
Step 2: accidentally pull
Step 3: realize you're toast
Step 4: contemplate existence for your last few seconds of life

My unit frames didn't show the elite marker on this guy.. just 'rare'. And then he two shotted my T-rex, then I ressed it and he two shotted it again... THEN he summoned a six pack of asshats and wanderd off while they took care of his light work. I do admit I didn't pay attention to his level, just 'is he a rare'...

His fight behavior has changed, but he's still not soloable. Instead of hitting like a truck, he summons an army of adds - a literal army, some 20-30 normal mobs that will kill any solo player far faster than they can be aoe'd down.

I haven't been ganked that hard by an overleveled pat since Duskwood back in Vanilla. At least I knew about the Fel Reavers and could avoid them. Did not see this guy coming. :P

Doing the witches' blood quest and I knew he was around somewhere as he looked like 20 tons of nitroglycerine in a gunny sack but who knew he could sneak up on you?

How to 2-man this big dude with his adds in 8.2 onwards:

1. Fly your friend/special someone there on your mount.
2. Do big dicc dps and outdps them
3. Torment them about it and be done with it.
4. Profit*

If you're not finding him at the WQ mark on the map, head down the road towards /way 24 55 then patrol back and forth.

I really don't know what people are on about with this boss.

He must have been heavily nerfed since their posts.

I was easily able to solo him as a level 120 hunter in about 45 seconds.

This rare spawns where indicated on the map for his WQ related pin, however if he hasn't been killed, he will patrol the whole forest by path, so he's easy to find if he hasn't been slayed.
