It's possible to pull him solo as a hunter, with feign death. It's also possible to solo him as a hunter, though with a little difficulty. I did so at level 32.

He casts a shadow bolt volley periodically, has a pet voidwalker with 800-1k health, and has 3k health as teh description says. He also casts a disease debuff on his target that inflicts 90 nature damage to all nearby friendly targets, and lasts a couple minutes.

balgaras is very easy to kill..just killed him with my lvl 32 warrior. Just used Bloodrage, battle shout, then charge, retaliation, demoralizing shout, render and spammed heroic strike until execute was available. I didn't even needed to use any health pots to kill him, nor his voidwalker.

Really easy as a warlock, did at lvl 27, just used a soul stone after the 2 dark demolitions had swawned, killed them seperately, then killed balgaras (use imolate and searing pain on him). enjoy.

Hello, as an affliction warlock, I was very worried about this encounter. However, here's what I noticed, he's immune to only Shadow, so I put my Voidwalker on his pet (you could also banish for this) and then just dropped Immolate and Searing Pain on him repeatedly. Managed to kill him off pretty quickly.

After that, just drop his pet (which is NOT immune to Shadow) and you're all done.

Managed to solo this as a level 28 Fire Mage. Was a lot easier than I had expected.

I started off by polymorphing Balgaras and then nuking down his Voidwalker. If you are around my level, chances are the sheep will break before the VW is dead so keep an eye on him to avoid getting a Shadow Bolt in the face.

Once the VW was dead I used pot + bandage + evocation to get back to full health/mana and then nuked down Balgaras. At my level he was resisting a lot of my spells but even so I got him down pretty easily.

His pet (Voidwalker) has 808hp I believe.

Was a bit hard as a priest: I died twice before I realized he was immune to shadow. Was able to smite/holy fire him easily the third time. Just keep PW:S up and you'll be fine.

I am a level 29 Shadow Priest with the Dire Wand, a wand that does shadow damage, he is immune to that also. I had to smite and holy Fire him to death while healing myself... not fun
