For those on the Shaman campaign:
To get, safely, to the Thunder Serpent you will enter through Guo-Lai at 22.43, 26.69. There you will follow the stairs down and come to a row of statues. If you go behind the statues, without getting too close, they will not spawn and attack you. They are sort of like... weeping angels but in reverse. So you will continue straight until you get to a room filled with colorful tiles at 22.09, 15.25.
The red tiles will rain fire upon you, do not step on those. The green-arrowed tiles will basically acid rain your face, avoid those too. The orange tiles spawn electricity under your feet. Also bad. You want to use the GREY TILES that look like clouds. Those will hurt you in no way and will lead you to the Ancient Guo Lai Door at 23.80, 9.26. Click this door and go through, following the stairs down to Thunder Serpent Nalak'Ra at 23.02, 11.90. He will have your Edict of the Storm.

Ok so it turns out that today, 11/23/16 I was able to cross with red tiles, not gray nor yellow. It may be different per day? Maybe not gray for everyone? I did, however, notice that all of the other Shaman that were in there with me, also had red.
