If you're doing this for a world quest mention it at the beginning. The location is just after the barrel ride downstream. It will look like you've overshot the location. You have to turn around and swim toward the waterfalls - underwater. gingerale points out it's the right waterfall. It seems counterintuitive to swim under a waterfall but it works.

A druid in my group in seal form put a marker over his head so others could follow. After leaving the cave look for flowing water before you try to surface (the tunnel is long and can be disorienting). Thought how sad it would be to drown in an instance...

Ultanok seemed to be targeting healer.

anyone looking for him as a pet. had a guildie spot a turtle like him at 41, 37 in suramar i went earlier and he wasnt there but ill check again later to see if hes there

Warlocks can solo this boss if your entire group leaves because they are lame...

Destro using an infernal to tank, make sure to heal the pet every now and then.

Troll quest mob when you think you've missed it by jumping down the waterfall and looking at your minimap, while in fact you can zone out and back in even after killing the last boss of the dungeon and still get him.

Killed him solo as a 925 holy priest because no one else in the group had the quest and I forgot about it until after the last boss.
I expect at this point in the expansion pretty much any class should be able to do it if you have at least 900 ilvl.

For those who are having a hard time figuring out how to get to him : Look at the screenshot I posted (it should be validated soon). You need to swim down into the water and into the fissure in the ground (it might not be obvious to see at first sight).

If you're doing remix and you don't remember where this guy is, He is in a hidden cave. In the broken teeth area at the bottom of the waterfall where you fall in and you hear the NPC say, "If you're not fighting, you're not eating." Instead of walking toward the NPCS turn around and face the waterfall. Dive down in the pool and you will see a narrow passage that leads into a bigger cave. The turtle will be there
