yeah like ^^ said they enchant them with clefthide or they enchant them with the other one that adds like 34stam and 12agil and that makes it alot better than the ones from the quest. of course if u dont want to go all out on twinking u could just get the ones from the quest and not spend as much time trying to get them from gnomer.

Infiltrator Pants of the Monkey 8-9 agil 8-9 stam might be a better option with much more balanced stats and they are probably going to be much cheaper.

dropped for an alt of mine on Stormrage PVE EU, I put them on the AH for 105g B/O & told people in /Trade chat. They sold within 20 seconds.

My main is a rogue and they are a nice pair of pants for a twink (level 29) as they can be given to a 60+ and have a armorkit put on them.

Sigh.... to all those who things it's impossible to get Clefthide Leg armor on those pants It is possible just give those pants to a lvl 60+ (BEFORE you've equipped them of course) and give him the clefthide leg armor too...then he can attach them into the pants and give them to you agian...then you got 30 stamina and 10 agility on =)

And agian you can't get clefthide leg armor on Triprunner Dungarees
Because it's a bop item then you can't give it to a lvl 60+ (or to you main...)
Instead of those leggings you could get Troll's Bane Leggings who are much cheaper than Petrol's Leggings (wich item that's very popular as a twink item)

These leggings make the difference between a Twink and a perfect twink, They are a must have! Some logic towards this is 1 stam is always 10 health, but 1 agi scales! at lower levels agi is amazing! you get a ridiculous amount of crit and dodge from agi!

anyways what they did was make the other defensive stats like defense scale as though you were a level 34 like they did with dodge a few levels back because the ratings scale very very well at low levels and has nothing to do with the way agi scales at any level

Alright, seeing these in AH on Alleria is VERY rare, only seen 2 or 3 this year. the one up now has been there for a month posted at 999g. twink stuff on this server is very expensive. I went with troll's bane since they are posted so much more often they only cost me 200g. It was either lose 2 stam and go with troll's bane or keep it and pay an extra 800g. 20 health isnt worth the extra money in my opinion.

These are slightly better than Trolls Bane Leggings, where you'll lose 2 stam from these and gain 4 spirit.

To be honest, it's 20 measily HP. If you can get either Petrolspill or Trolls Bane leggings cheap then buy them. The difference is tiny.

Triprunner's Dungarees < Troll's Bane or Petrolspill. Reason behind this:

Triprunner's are BoP, and can't have leg armor attached. The stats may be better, but with leg armor...

I'm sorry to say that as of 3.1 all leg armor and spellthread will be nerfed. It will gray out for any non level 60 wearing an item with it on. So these and most other BoE blues will become obsolete due to the fact they won't have the edge of being "twinkable" anymore. I am a bit depressed over it. The only value they will have now is for 29 twinks that can't do the quest for triprunners.

I don't think these leggings are worth the farming or the gold anymore. Leggings of the Verdant Oasis are better, BoE (so no one charges you out the butt) and easy to get. Just find some higher level to help you and and do this quest Princess Theradras in Maraudon. You can't wear anything the bosses drop at 29 here so just get the quest and go straight to her.

The best pants for a 24 twink rogue or hunter. The XP off battleground for 20-24 is pretty lively now with all the 20 trial players in there. Now it's just trying to get the pants to drop!

I've farmed whelps, i've farmed battered hilts and rare world boe's but these pants are truly a trial and a half. Anyone who intends to farm these I wish you the best of luck. I assure you, you'll need it. 39 runs, 5/9 rare gnomer boe's and a great deal of time lost. If I were to AH the leggings, buyout would be no less than 5k. 'happy' hunting..

An acceptable substitute for these would be Aluwyn's Legguards from Blackfathom Deeps. You need to be Alliance and at least level 20 to pick up the quest Twilight Falls.

Petrolspill Leggings are still better, but sometimes they're not easily accessible.

These have been made largely obsolete by the BOA agility pants, Stained Shadowcraft Pants. At level 24 the stats are:

I got these on Aggramar- US for my twink after 96 runs in gnomergon. I was there for the Charged gear of agility (which i still hadnt got) but i was fortunate enough to get these. Would have payed up to 15k for them anyway. Here they are dropped
