after you complete the quest for any of those items, crate/snare/trap the animal will be caged in an arena where you can fight it.... ( it is about a 5 man boss) but are doable with less depending on gear)

upon killing it you auto start a completed quest and will gain a buff depending which animal you killed and be able to get 200(without perks) rep with dominance offensive

the crab is easily solable by a ranged class

it appears you can only do this once a day (regardless of animal) as I killed the crane after the crab and the quest did not appear.

i havent done the tiger yet but I cant imagine it being easier than the crab

crane requires a tank and healer, or someone that is very good otherwise

Does not reward any reputation or achievement upon completion.

After turning in , OR you will get a chance to speak to the NPC to release one of elite beasts and fight it. After defeating it, quest will pop rewarding you 200 reputation instead.
It's quite hard to solo them even as tanks and would take too long, but it's possible to duo elite with a healer or tank helping you.

You don't need to do all 3 quests to kill elites for 200 rep, just 1 is enough. But you can only do it once a day.

Quick warning, you can't spread the quest over 2 or more days. I bought the crate yesterday, accepted the quest but didn't get round to finishing it. This morning the quest is gone from my log, and the crate disappears when you accept the quest.

Only one person needs to turn this quest series daily per faction/server. Once it is turned in, the crab is available for all players of that faction to kill for an extra quest.(##RESPBREAK##)2##DELIM##perculia##DELIM##

It should also be noted that as the quest disappears you don't lose your gathered items. If you don't want to turn in your crab/tiger/crane on the same day because someone else did the same before you (Thus wasting your farming for that quest)

I found out ("the hard way") that if you hold onto the Crab/Tiger/Crane to turn it in later (day(s) after) you also lose the quest and have to do the collection over to spawn the quest again, so if you wait with turning in hold onto the collection items and not the animal. You can simply buy the quest again and continue from where you were rather than having to start over.

Very easy to solo as any ranged class, just takes a while. Just soloed as a 455 ilvl BM hunter...don't let your pet aggro him, takes 5-8 minutes and kite him.

Currently bugged on our server (Draenor, Alliance, EU). Huntsman Blake only offers the summon Ancient Crane dialogue. So only buy the crane trap and do that questline. Once captured, summoned and defeated you'll get the final quest to pop-up automatically upon the crane's death!
