Wildvine is fairly expensive seeing as it's used to make the crafted Dreamweave cloth gear and crafted Wild Leather gear and the associated quests.
To use it in a potion that has a chance to restore 1 health and 1 mana (however small that chance is) would be quite foolish.

this one sucks...i only get like 400 mana and health back when i use it. i used an entire stack just to test it while out questing...400 each time. totally not worth it....i just made them to level alch since i had so many wildvines.

This is actually a useful potion if it procs well, and IT CAN CRIT. I just got 1950 health from it.

changed to 750 hp and mana on live; no more random amazingness or awfulness.

It has been changed to now give a standard amount of mana and health, scaled by level of the consumer. Minimum level for use, 35.

Fun fact. This icon depicts an "Invisibility" like potion, whence why the glass all around the liquid is not visible (only the top and bottom half of the flask appear).

This and a similar styled icon were used for Potions of Invisibility in Warcraft 3.

I guess the icon was mistakenly used for the Wildvine Pot since it has a pink/purple-ish color, which is used for "Rejuvenation"-type effects (when a potion restores Health and Mana at the same time).
