Note that this is the 4.0 Culmination of the legendary questline (which results in Chapter I: Trial of the Black Prince). The quest that gives the reward is Breath of the Black Prince.

Quest chain starts with Wrathion, at Tavern of the Mists, at the top of the Veiled Stair.

The other possible gems are Crystallized Terror and Crystallized Horror.

Can we get two of these? Like if we have fist weapons (that means 2) can we gem both of them?

If i get two Sha-Touched weapons with sockets as a dual wielder, and I can only use one of these gems. Would any other gem fit in that other gem slot? The weapons are not unique, so I do not understand how this can work other than that.

This is really important, because if not it may be a bad idea for people to roll on a 2nd one as a dual wielder. Anyone know?

After obtaining the first gem it will be 10,000 gold for additional gems.

The final Legendary will be a Gem of your choice giving you +500 of your chosen stat, the Gem choices are as follows:

Agility - Crystallized Dread

Strength - Crystallized Terror

Intellect - Crystallized Horror

Each Gem is a Reward Choice from the quest Breath of the Black Prince in which upon completion will also give you:

118,000 experience

75 reputation with The Black Prince

and the Achievement Chapter I: Trial of the Black Prince

As of rolling restarts today on 1-9-13, this item and the other 2 legendary gems can now be purchased from the valor gear vendor Commander Oxheart at Niuzao temple for 10.000G as well as Eye of the Black Prince for 2500G. These items ARE affected by guild perks, and with it you can get them for 9000G and 2250G respectively with those perks alone, and for even less if your a goblin as well.

This will make it much cheaper to just buy the gems here while in a guild with these perks and will finally allow you to buy more eyes for your new weapons! :D

As of the hotfix being implemented january the 8th:

指揮官牛心 in Townlong Steppes will now sell 晶化畏懼, 晶化恐懼, 晶化恐怖, and 黑龍王子之眼 for gold to players that have completed the appropriate quest lines.

Any idea how to completely remove/destroy an already socketed 500 agility gem? I currently have one in my main hand Claws of Shek'zeer but want to put the gem in my recently acquired Spiritsever. This way when I swap from combat to assassination spec I will still be able to use the the extra 500 agility since the Spiritsever will still be used and the Claws won't. I realize I will be paying the 10k gold for the new gem

Can these be put in any non-shatouched weapons? Ive heard rumors that thunderforged weapons can carry those, but cant see any confirmation in the comments...

So, this gem has been wasting space in my bags since I got it like, 2 months ago.
I had a Sha-Touched wep, but since I downed Lei Shen Ive been using the 2hand agi wep which isn't Sha Touched.
So, the "legendary" quest reward is pretty much useless.

Anyone know if they'll adress this in the near future?

So here's a fun fact about these gems: if you already have one socketed in a weapon, you can no longer buy any of them from the vendor. If you want to set up a Timewalking weapon for a second spec, you need to:

Vendor your existing sha-touched weapon.
Buy your second Crystallized (Scary Gem).
Buy your weapon back from the Buyback tab.

And don't log out during any of this! You'll lose your original weapon and gem, and have to go through the item restoration process.

What a pain in the buns.
