Drops from Kal'tik the Blight (a rare elite in Vale of Eternal Blossom)
This can be used to boost you up in the air a short distance, or can be used to prevent taking falling damage, but only for around 6 seconds.
Unfortunatly as this is a trinket it has a 30 second equip cooldown so you'd have to have it equipped ready for when you know you'd be falling, and also not use it too early from too high a height.
Sadly it also stops your forward movement, so can't be used to high jump over obstacles.

The rocket helmet launches you a huge distance into the air, whereas the gravity well just bumps you up a tiny amount.

It prevents falling damage from the distance it shoots you up, but does not prevent falling damage if you start somewhere off the ground, despite the tornado animation around your body until you land.

i thought it was interesting to note this item does not make you jump STRAIGHT up. you move slightly backwards with the use. i realised this when i used it in gadgetzan, and instead of landing on the ground where i started, i landed on a crane arm there.

One potential use for overgeared pvpers would be to jump backwards onto an enemy's spawn point in WSG. If casters are camping outside the reach of melee, this could save a trip around the entire enemy base.

ok i did some testing with this. the slight backwards movement is awesome and will probably be fixed soon. i tried areas in battlegrounds and you can get to unreachable areas. i play horde and i used it to jump up onto the roof area you cant normally get too. (after some walking i got ontop of the big watermill near the horde ramp), and yeah. looots of places u can get to with it, especially if you chain it. demo warlocks can jump and while in air do demonic leap to do a straight leap in the air THEN use it to get extra height too. ALSO i seem to be the only one to notice this 400ilvl trinket has NO LEVEL REQUIREMENT. currently camping it with a lvl 2friend nearby, goal will be to tag it before someone else does, and kite the rarespawn over to the city where i'm not phased with my lvl2 buddy and get him a 400 ilvl trinket.

~~This can in fact be used with a 哥布林滑翔裝置 for those of you who were wondering.~~ I haven't used it in any place where you can't fly but I'd imagine you could get to some unreachable areas with this method.

Edit: You can use this in places where flying is prohibited as long as you are outside as the tooltip states. Not sure if it's able to be used in battlegrounds though. I will test it to see if it works and provide any screenshots of areas I can get to.

Edit 2: As Eralson stated 5.1 brought a change to this and it can no longer be used with goblin glider or rocket jump. A quote from november 9th's hotfix: "Using Bottled Tornado will now always properly put Rocket Jump and Goblin glider on cooldown."(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##

Such a dissapointing item. Sends me 1/3 as far up in the air as the engineer Nitro Boosts explosion, and it cant even be used in conjuction with other items like Goblin Glider. To me this trinket is worth 15 gold, 66 silver and 18 copper.(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##

What a useless trinket now. I have the Gnomish anti-gravity well which works much better than this for the most part. It's not a trinket, can be used multiple times if you don't proc the debuff... Works with glider and stuff.. Yeah... It's better.

I got this only yesterday, so I did not get to enjoy it in its former better form. However it is not as bad as some people may think. It is still usefull because it pushes you backwards, so you can use it to get on a small cliff or so.

But it can also be used as a freefall trinket!

I already have one regular slowfall trinket I picked up somewhere during questing a long time ago, and of course the famous Skyguard cloak. I always kept both in my bags, and about once a month I find a use for it. This is a nice addition to those.

Especially since it does not share any cooldowns with the other items, and the cooldown on this is very short. Not 30 mins like on many other slow fall items.

To explain this, I took it to Dalaran and jumped off the city. When 'using' this, you stay afloat in the air for a few seconds. So the upwards push of this trinket compensates a natural fall. I'm not sure if this can be done in combat as well, but I can imagine some fun with it.

Then during the slow glide, this acts like any slow fall item and saves you for a few seconds. So you can also simply 'use' it a few feet before hitting the floor like any slowfall trinket. Except again this one has a very short cooldown.

After all this was intended as just a fun item.

I could not get this to work.. It just keeps saying "can not be used at this time" or something like it.
There is not "cool down" on it atm, so no reason it would not work... and I AM outside, lol.

Bottled disappointment.

Height of jump was underwhelming to say the least for a 2 min CD.

Anti-gravity well is infinitely better.

There is either a hidden level requirement to this, or it can only work in flying zones.(my money is betting that it only works in flying zones.

I had the bright idea to nab this for my level 1 bank alt. While my bank alt can, indeed equip it, no matter where I go- pandaria or stormwind, outside or in- it says "you cannot use that here."

I traded it to my 90 alt which killed the rare, and it was able to use it with no problem.

So: either hidden level requirement, or flying-only characters.

As a note, I kept it on my bank alt anyway. It's sometimes funny to hear peoples' reactions to a level 1 with a 400 ilvl trinket :)

EDIT: why downvote? I came here before farming this on my level 1 specifically to find out whether or not it was possible. There was no information in the comments or in the tooltip on the subject, leading me to experiment on my own. At some point, somebody else may have questions about low level usage of this item, and my comment may shed some light.

EDIT: since my earlier comment got downvoted because certain feebleminded individuals assume it's impossible to get on a level 1, let me explain. I am a multiboxer, an activity endorsed by Blizzard. Thus I have multiple accounts- at this point in time, all linked via RAF. It is quite simple to farm this item on a bank alt by going to the mob on a 90, RAF summoning in the bank alt, and killing the rare, letting the bank alt loot it(there is no level requirement to picking up or equipping this item, only to use it.) And to the moron who deleted my post, asking how I traded a BoP item to a bank alt- maybe you're playing god on wowhead without having any interaction with the game itself, but many, MANY moons ago a fantastic feature was implemented which allows BoP items to be traded in between characters which were eligible for the loot for up to two hours after the item was looted. You might want to work on your comprehension skills.

That said, multiboxing certainly makes this easier, but is not required. If you have a 90 friend with a flying mount willing to fly you out there, you can farm this, Skymirror, Kang's Bindstone, Daggers of Ordos, or Rime of the Time-Lost Mariner(ALL items I now possess on my bank alt, and all items i CAN, indeed, use, with the exception of bottled tornado!

For the majority of you, this post will indeed be useless. But for those that enjoy pimping out their bank alts to the max, good luck, and it is WELL worth it :)

New Toys - Old Items Converting to Toys
I figured it's better now than later to start farming the old items that will be converted to toys in Legion. Who knows if they'll lower drop rates or how heavily they will be camped once they're added to the toybox.
I made myself a Google Sheets document to track all the toys being converted and it has the ability to mark off the item once you've found it. With the filters I can then hide any marked off toys. This has really helped me find and track the long list of items and I wanted to share it with the community. I've heavily cleaned it up for sharing purpose, so feel free to use it as you please!
