The rogues that do the most damage in less time are Dagger Rogues. If you want to finish clothies in 2 hits, and like to go unoticed with stealth most of time, try going Subtelty. If you can afford, get Torturing Poker from SM: GY, with help from a High Level friend. Crusader on it, and get Vendetta too as posted above with a +15 Agility.
This sword is only good for Hunters because of the stats. And the WSG Dagger goes nicely aswell - both with +15 Agility.

This is NOT the best twink Hunter weapon as previously stated. Archeus (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=2000) with the Savagery enchant is, although it is Alliance only.

Great weapon for sword rogues. If you're not using backstab you want a slower main hand for greater burst dmg, and with the dps on this, it's well worth it. Dagger rogues might be "the best" in whoever's opinion, but I love my combat swords build and will be looking for this to make it better.

Sword rogues are great for leveling 1-70, but as soon as you reach 70 you should get the pvp/arena daggers so you can pawn noobs

Regardless of stats on it, this blade still rocks for a levelling dualwielding warrior (not even talking about pvp here) because of its slow speed. Rage from two weaps + fury rage gains + mash Slam = win, until you get better attacks to use.

(And, btw, warriors do get +crit from agi. No, noone goes for agi at 70. But good luck finding stuff with lots of +crit at 26.)

If you want the best sword, ( if you have the money for full gear enchanments ) is the zealot blade. It has the highest hit making your SS hit HARD, then you would want the highest dps weapon you could find being torturing poker. THOUGH, you might as well just go full ambush and pick up Claw of the Shadowmancer as your MH. SS rogues with full gear are very good, but ambush is probably a little better in this bracket.

Found The Butcher off of a Scarlet Adept this morning, was killing mobs in Library trying to find the Scarlet Boots. After i finished the run, i reset the instance and began another run, and another dropped off of a Scarlet Beastmaster. I wasen't even looking for these things =/ bleh.

in my server it was around 83 g on ah but as u may guessed theres not so many of those.. so i tried to sell it for 200g on ah which's dropped at the second or 3rd mob after finishing sm(yes its dropped from the building of sm not in instance)

so i put it from 200g and it was sold at the 20th minute.. so u may guess how do i get sad when i read gebusjuice's comment..

If you notice this weapon is used by the elite undead Gaurds that protect Sylvanas windrunner. It is really fun getting items that make u look like those gaurds and weilding the butcher. You can walk around and act like a freaking gaurd lol :P

Still drops as of 7.3.5, did a mass pull while farming items and got it to drop (can't say from what mob specifically though).

This just dropped in Scarlet Monastery (left dungeon portal). I was streaming at the time so I have video proof for those interested, but I must sincerely apologize as I was playing a clip from Silence of the Lambs for somebody on stream; you can still see the item drop clearly though. This was 2018-03-31 - 4:55am CST - Mal'Ganis US Horde. Good luck guys!

It dropped from either a 血色新兵 or a 血色狂熱者. Not sure which one due to aoe loot, but it's one of these two.

Before it dropped, I tried searching for it in appearances with all filters checked and there were no search results. Now that I've collected it, suddenly it's there in appearances. Interesting that it's not searchable until you've obtainable it...
