Oh and keep in mind, right:

Make sure you get the key from pickpocketing BEFORE you open that chest. Otherwise - touch of zanzil and you gotta find someone to cure it for you. which kinda fails.

Just did that mistake, kek. gogo nuking down the guy in the top of the tower and picking the chest lock, then realizing i really messed up. Oh well, don't make that mistake. xD

There's an issue with the pickpocketing if someone else pickpockets him before you but doesn't kill him -- he has no key to pickpocket until he dies and respawns.

If the key respawns without him dying first (it might, I don't know) it must take a long time because my husband did the horde version and says it has the same problem.

Anyhow, the fastest way to respawn the key is to use a higher level character to kill him and then hop back on your rogue. (And, while you're there, you may as well wipe out the tower so your rogue can get the chest unmolested.)

If you don't have a higher level character, try logging out for an hour or two and checking back later.

But if u Lockpick on the chest first u will get the poison, what u can do it to ask a pala for taking "remow poison" and then u can contune the quest ;)

This can be pickpocket from Malformed Defias Drone roaming around the outside of the tower.
As the quest description of Klaven's Tower states: "The zombie with the spikes holds a key we'll need"

Honestly from what i have seen as far as the anti-vemon, it doesn't work. I burned through 12 of them and nothing.

Well I Saped him, picked his pockets 4 times and all i got was some copper, no key. I used my lv. 70 night elf hunter to see if the key was on him and no luck. Looks like an issue for Blizz to repair.

You can pick pocket the key from the malformed defias drone, not from Klaven!
he walks around outside and hits pretty hard.

Hey! Picked Pocketed drone with no issues and without Sap (Doomhammer) ... Received the key. Killing him drops nothing. As for the posion from the chest...carry some Anti-Venom bandaging, you can learn it from any First Aid instructor. There are different levels of this bandaging, but not all of them are available from an instructor, some higher level knowledge is obtained through drops only, or the AH if you're lucky.
