These shoulders match really well with the normal-difficulty T13 Hunter set. Keep in mind that it only goes for the raid-finder version of these shoulders, since the normal version of the shoulders match really well with the raidfinder-difficulty set! The heroic version of these shoulders doesn't really match any of the hunter sets, but at that point the shoulders should always go to a shaman because of how good the stats are.

Remember though! Not all loot is hunter loot, and you should never ask to get this item unless no shamans need it.

Is it possible to still drop these with a hunter? I mean, by entering the instance with the NPC.

I wondered if these shoulders were still available to hunters now. After searching forums and WoWhead I couldn't find a clear answer, so I opened a ticket for this topic. After 2 hours I received a response of a GM telling me these shoulders are not available to Hunters due the stats of the item.

Such a shame, they really matched the Wyrmstalker Battlegear set.
