Got it 2 weeks ago on my druid tank,the large amount of mastery it has on it and the socket makes it the item u should be aiming for,even if it hasn't the armor increase like the normal deathwing polearm.Even or if we ever down Madness Heroic I will still think if I'll swap this one for the heroic version of the Madness polearm.Static mastery,at least for a tank in my book always beats proc agility and dodge.

Have this staff on my druid, pretty happy with the mastery bonus.

I think as far as druid staffs go, the madness staff is fun with the proc but this one is superior. The extra 50 agil from the gem socket, and the huge mastery is excellent.

From a survial hunters perspective, this 2h seems to be BiS until you reach heroic Madness, which drops 吉利爾，猛獸之怒.

However, since you probably killed normal Madness and just obtained this 2h, you're likely replacing 吉利爾，猛獸之怒 and wondering if you actually got an upgrade or just wasted your DKP (if you're in that type of guild)

Comparing these two reveals that in every way the spire will outperform Kiril, unless you somehow need the additional 700 armor.

However, this does not factor in the additional agility from Kiril, which we also need to calculate. Assuming a 60 second internal cooldown:

Since we know the staff stacks up from 0 to 10 stacks in 10 seconds, and then have 10 stacks for an additional 10 seconds, we can calculate the average agility.

(5s*(5*107agi)+10s*(10*107agi))*(1/60s) = 223 agility on average.

Now, we also assume a 精緻的皇后石榴石 is used for the spire, giving it a total agility of 50agi (gem)+ 10agi (socket bonus) + 529 agi = 589 agility

That means we have:
吉利爾，猛獸之怒
514 agi + 223 agi = 737 agi

vs

凝固血珠法杖
589 agi
226 hit rating
409 mastery rating (where you could reforge away 40 % and have 163 crit rating and 249 mastery rating instead).

Personally the spire will grant me a dps upgrade of about 60, but I'm still keeping Kiril for encounters like Hagara, where your proc might happen when you need it the most.

For Beast Mastery hunters, this is the best staff in the game as long as you reforge the mastery to crit.
