The cowl strongly resembles (and may well be based upon) one of the many depictions of the mask of King Oedipus, of Sophocle's Oedipus Rex.

Masks were commonly worn in the theater of Ancient Greece. Not everyone could see the facial expressions of the actors, so the masks had exaggerated features. That fits with this cowl, because the painted-on streams of tears and oversized crown would let people know this character is the tragic king.

I think it just looks cool but I think the spikes need to be just a little bit smaller I like how it is like a crown but the spikes are just alittle to big for my taste as a priest helm that's all.mainly the middle one id make it alittle bit smaller then the others so it keeps that pattern going that's all.other then that cool helm.
