All DPS casters will have their damaging spells critting for 200% (people who spec healer will crit for 150%), just like they have been for quite a while now. This meta will increase that 200% damage by 3%, going up to a total of 206%.

For fire mages, however, our crits will be doing 288.4% damage, including ignite (which adds 40% of the total crit damage: 206% x 40% = 82.4%) but ignoring mastery. If you add on mastery then ignite will do an additional xx% damage. For example I currently have 40% flashburn, so my ignite will actually do an additional (40% x 150%) 60% of the crit, taking my crits up to a theoretical modifier of 329.6% (ignite does 206% x 40% x 150% = 123.6%, plus the original 206%).

As a result of our huge crit modifiers this meta is actually slightly more powerful for a fire mage than it is for anyone else (with my current mastery it adds 4.56% damage to my crits). I would go into more details about exactly who benefits from it, like druids getting an additional % added to their intellect via talents but as it's not a drop there's no need.

This is also the best throughput meta for healers, though the current gem of choice for most healers is 餘燼的影魂鑽石, especially for druids, paladins and disc priests who have regen based on max mana.

I'm wondering how much increase of dps this is over the chaotic version? Im not too hardcore so i'm not going to use any Rawr stats myself. Maybe just an average estimate? Im thinking it should be about 50 to 60 dps more?

Healing spells will not benefit from the 3% effect. Healers have the Revitalizing Shadowspirit Diamond.

Tool tip says 3% increased critical 'effect' not 'Damage', so why is it not for healers? If I don't need the mana from the ember shadowspirit, this seems like a good choice for my resto druid. (if indeed the tool tip is correct?).

Wondering for atonement discos using this meta now.
Since its now 3% crit dmg and 3% crit healing
It will give 3% crit inc on smite, but will it also add an extra 3% to the atonement heal meaning atonement gains a "double dip" effect on crits?
I will try and test this as best I can.
