I got my skill up by 60. So now im on 105. Quite alot.
It took me precisely 80 catches to get em all. Little boring. Be sure to bring some music with you. really makes it easier.
Btw. before you go fishing. if you already got skill lvl 50, then be sure to go get journyman fishing. The closest trainer is in darnassus and is called: Astaia

36.4 55.6 if you are an herbalist too there is a strangekelp that keeps spawning there too. So you can raise both skills at the same time.
My rate was about 14%

I ended up dropping this quest, it took me no time to get the first one but i couldn't get another one after that and i fished for over 50 minutes, i got my fishing level up pretty high though, and ended up with a bunch of the groupers for the previous quest. It was not worth wasting time on this quest quite honestly.

I went to 51,28 on the rock and fished and got all the Electropeller in about 20 min......it was so easy and got lots of fish to cook....giggle.

Very poor drop rate... but a great way to level fishing! I fished mine up at Cliffspring River.

i just had a 100% drop rate fishing in the wildbend river. luck perhaps or possibly an increase in drop rate of some sort. got all 12 in exactly 12 casts.

Got them in ~12 minutes. About 35 casts. Fished in the cliffspring river, between the eastern and the western waterfalls, west from that huge log.

You can catch the Electropeller anywhere in the Cliffspring River, the Wildbend River or the little pond in the Grove of Ancients.

You cannot catch the Electropeller in the Master's Glaive, as the water is too shallow.

On a level 80 with fishing maxed, it took 55 casts at the Cliffspring River.
