I am combining the two JC crafted comparisons for obvious reasons (e.g. I'm lazy).

Agility Necklace Showdown

First, the fun comparison between the two Agility JC necklaces themselves: +47 Crit with +10 Agility socket vs +10 Agility and +26 Haste with a +10 Mastery socket. After gemming Dueling Banjo-style, you are left with +27 Crit vs +10 Mastery and +6 Haste. This means the Medallion has what appears to be a good 11 item points on the Choker, which is clearly either a bug or stupid. Or both!

The Perfume Broach has the same two stats as the Medallion, and in this particular fight the Medallion is a clear winner stat-wise - being charitable with a Deft Ember Topaz gives the Medallion +11 Crit and +3 Haste with no downsides. I mean, other than one probably costing ~5,000g and the other dropping from a holiday boss. But hey, that holiday boss is only going to be around for a short while.

The next interesting comparison is between the Medallion and the Revered necklace. Slapping in an Adept Ember Topaz means the Medallion has +112 Crit vs +96 Mastery and +5 Haste. The stat weightings are different for each spec, of course, but this doesn't seem to be a compelling choice. Every single person who finishes questing in Hyjal will be Revered with the Guardians there, meaning they will likely have access to this necklace by level 82 even if they cannot wear it yet.

Finally, how about the Medallion vs the JP vendor item? Conveniently they have the same stats, so after adding a Deft Ember Topaz you have... the Medallion with +10 Haste. Seriously. If you bought the Medallion for 5000g, that comes out to around 4g per JP. Or looking at it another way, the Medallion is a +10 Haste upgrade that saves you from killing 18 heroic bosses (or likely sitting in the DPS queue for 18 heroic bosses).

Bottom line is I would recommend getting this crafted before spending 1250 Justice Points, but only after the Love is in the Air holiday AND/OR you have sworn a deadly oath against the Guardians of Hyjal and vowed to never do their quests, ever.

This item cost about 1250 to make on my server (Skullcrusher). The item sells for about 3500 on the auction house, but I know you can usually buy for much cheaper if you have the mats. Corded Viper Belt and Dragonscale Tunic go for about 4000 a piece, which cost me barely 500 gold for each (biggest cost was the chaos orbs, 300g, depending on who crafts it for you). I bought everything straight off the AH, even the jewelcrafter items (chimera's eye). Had a guildie make it for me. My DPS went up by 2000 (its 13K now). The acorn doesn't do crap for me. lol.

For a marksman hunter the only necks better than this one is the 372 off heroic valiona and the random statted neck from throne of the four winds (hit/crit) gemmed this is 188 agi the epic ones are 190 and none are itemized as good except the totfw one.

Agility dps looking at this for timewalking should move on. Too much of this item's stats are given to stamina, crit and haste. Something like 烏丁的幸運項鍊 or 巴爾薩魯斯的禮物 is better, even for cata time walking. There might be some other necklace that works better for cata (I did my researching before they added cata to tw and I haven't went back and looked) but this one isn't it. It may be useful for agility tanks, I don't know them well enough to judge.
