Relentless Gladiator's Greatstaff has finally met its better.

While RGG has superior health that's all it has going for it.
Bloodfall has far superior threat capabilities and more agility/SD absorption to help mitigate the lower stamina.

Yay for PvE bears finally having a PvE BiS, only took 2 seasons.

Quick question here. I'm seeing this on wowhead currently as not having a socket bonus. It's non-heroic counterpart is the same in that respect. Has anyone seen one of these in-game to know if that's true or not? I'm also doing the Distant Land comparison for feral druid use.

Now that the Lich King loot table is known, this is the BiS weapon for feral tanks obtainable from PvE.
While its stats can be very appealing to other classes too, I believe that it should be given priority to Ferals and Hunters.
(and to that matter, to ferals before hunters if they both have equivalent weapons - gogo downrank)

Got it for my hunter today, and its very nice. Sure, haste isnt really something that i want, but all the agi is really nice since im still SV. Even though Distant Land 遠地 is a bit better, its not more then 14 dps diffrence according to spreadsheat, so i wont bother to go for that one.

Im lucky that i have nice drood OT in guild thats very understanding :)

in any case the itemization goes like so
priority as i see it follows:
polearms ------>hunters
staves ------>ferals

all others should be considered offspecs regarding hunters,druids, DKs, warriors or paladins.

Some have seen the stats on this and considered it as a Ret Paladin weapon. Well, to be honest, it does have stats that suit Ret Paladins, it is a tad fast, but the main weapon one would compare this to is Heroic Bryntroll. Both weapons are very close as far as pure dps is concerned, for the most part with the proc Bryntroll outshines this in PvP, but for PvE (which is what this will be most often used for) Bloodfall offers some real powerful stats. The key advantage this has over Bryntroll is the stats. For a Ret Paladin the main attraction of Bryntroll is that it's proc has a chance to proc other paladin abilities. Basically Bryntroll is better for lesser geared players, but as gear levels increase Bloodfall scales well, bryntroll does not.

i completely agree with the thought of it being given to druids before hunters. i myself am a hunter and would easily give this to a feral druid if it was a true upgrade for them. after all, it would blow if a rogue got zod's longbow over a TROLL hunter. y'know what i mean?

Arms warriors shouldn't overlook this for pvp. There are obviously better choices, but this isn't bad until you find something better. Don't forget that you cannot dual wield polearms for fury! You should yield to druids on this one.

It is for feral Druids but, it is a good hunter weapon aswel, if no one in the raid needs it I'm sure a hunter will be happy for it =)
