Provided there's nothing spectacular from Arthas, this is currently one of the better (if not the best) offhand for fury warriors capable of getting a Shadow's Edge/Shadowmourne for their main hand. This is a lot of hit rating, letting us worry about other stats elsewhere. Plus the armor penetration is quite a lot, giving us a decent boost towards the ArP hardcap.

EDIT: Looks like this is no longer the case for heroic gear- Glorenzelg from Arthas-25 appears to be the best offhand now due to the huge expertise gain which well-geared warriors won't have elsewhere. Previously we had to gem quite a bit for it, which isn't as desirable as arp (til hardcap) or strength, making Glorenzelg a nice step up, especially considering the huge topend damage it has. Cryptmaker is still the best for non-heroic loot.

Now no longer considered BIS for kitty druids.

Reasons:
1) "This mace is a loss of stats over using a staff. Notice your typical staff has agi/stam + Arp, crit, and AP (or some combination like that). Cryptmaker comes with less stats on it but higher top end melee damage because it is designed to be used by something like a warrior/deathknight/ret paladin." - Raed from ej

P. S. This is not to say you should let this mace be sharded (in the unlikely event nobody should want it). It's still better than a 251 weapon, and is only worse than a 264 staff/ polearm for kitties. Do let a str user have this if they want it, though, as--I hope--they would let you have your agi polearms and staves.

I'd like to add to the above comment re: DK tanking. Hit and Exp are the most useful stats a 2h can have for a DK tank, but ArP is not at all wasted as simulation has demonstrated ArP to be an exceptional threat stat. Aside from Sta and Str/Agi, ArP is the most non-direct beneficial stat on a weapon, much superior to Crit and Haste, which offer the tank little value.
