It has a very similar styling from the new Starcraft II Dark Templar weapons, only missing the greenish laser thingy (Psi Blades)
they should have used the Warglaive tips for the blades for better looks imo since they are both glaives...

This weapon is currently set to drop in Trial of the Grand Crusader 25 man from Anu'barak.

So it looks like this weapon is slated to be just about one of the hardest items in the game to get right now (except maybe items that drop from heroic algalon).

Oh and one more thing this is BiS for Feral tanks not Feral dps though thats Lupine Longstaff (from Fjola Lightbane).

This def does not drop from 25 hero version as it is ilevel 245. It may drop from Anub in the 10 man hero though.

232 - 10 man regular
245 - 25 man/10 man heroic
258 - 25 man heroic

This drops from Anub Arak on the 25 normal version of Trial of the Crusader. I got it on my Hunter last night... Directly after winning the Lupine Longstaff from Twin Valkyrs :D Won 2nd BiS, then won BiS right after lol.

It looks very awesome sitting on my back, and the swing animation does look a little weird based on the position that my character actually holds the polearm... its not centered. He holds it with a slight forward grip so more of the polearm swings backward than forward.

I got this on Wednesday, upgrade from Betrayer of Humanity and its just insane, on Heroic test dummies I am usually hitting around 4.2k with sunders with the Betrayer of Humanity...with Archon Glaive I am hitting 4.6k and beyond, these parses all last around the duration of a Glyphed Battleshout (6 mins).

I cant even imagine the kind of numbers I am gonna see in my next 25 man raid.

I was never a big fan of polearms.....

Until I won this today during a lucky free roll since we were pugging some folks. Did a H ToC after the raid and saw some very nice dps numbers with this puppy. Got a solid 4% crit increase. Couple this with some nice raid buffs and I am also itching to use this in new content.

And I was getting tired of lugging Ironsoul around as well.

Alas, Berserker only glows on one of the two blades...gg Blizzard. But this thing really is a great upgrade over Betrayer, and too all the hunters and ferals out there, Valks drops a great staff for you so no griping if a melee gets this weapon before you get it as a stat stick. :)

This is the ONLY weapon besides Warglaives of Azzinoth that are double-sided. Decent for a Night Elf RPing as a Demon Hunter....sadly, it is not duel wieldable.

EDIT: Fordragon Blades also work, but they are the same model.

Hunter Weapon period. Pallies, Wars and Dks rolling on this over a hunter should be banned from grouping forever.

It bugs me especially when I see wars (Like they need extra crit) and pallies walking about with Polearms like this one with massive amounts of agility. Learn to play noobs and get something with strength on it -.-
