Please correct me if I'm wrong on this, but accoarding to WoWWiki 200 Parry Rating is roughly 4.06% at level 80. And if the effect can stack five times I guess that means it'll equal a total of roughly 20.33% increased Parry.

Edit: Seems it was changed in the latest Build to no longer stack. So now it's just a proc that gives 200 Parry Rating (~4.06% Parry) and damage on your next Parry.

Could this be good for a rogue?

Lets say i enchant this on both weapons, does it stack? Can i have +40% parry and when ever i do parry i do some nice 800dmg to w/e is attacking me?

If so i can see enchanting this to duel weapons the next best enchant for arenas.

It would be good for a tank class

Use: Permanently enchants a weapon to sometimes grant Blade Warding when striking an enemy. Blade Warding increases your parry rating by 200 and inflicts 600 to 800 damage on your next parry. Effect can stack up to 5 times and lasts 10 sec.

So it would be good for a tank with 1h weapons like a warror/pala with shield or a DK with 2x1h weapons (dont think that it would be good for a 2h weapon)

but think it could be used for a combat rogue with Riposte

This is gonna be the most awesome tank enchant invented! 200 stacking parry rating and 800 dmg dealt on parry, that is friggin mean! 1 enchant that doubled my parry momentary... You gotta be a druid or a moron if you WONT have this as a tank! Even more crazy for a soloing melee class. :D Dualwield 2 daggers with this enchanted on as a rogue... o.o

Anywhere on the PTR where you can obtain this recipie?
I have an enchanter friend who's copied to the same test server and I want him to enchant me with it to test it out. Like getting an idea how easy is it to get 5 stacks, to maintain them or if you can get two stacks duel wielding it or if both weapons contributes to one stack.

I hope this enchant yields a SICK glow like Mongoose/Executioner - those two are still the sickest looking to date we need a Wrath enchant that looks better those BC enchants. Maybe even an enhanced glow when it procs.

I wonder if this procs on Hammer of the Righteous, anyone know? Strikes = White meele hit or is it abilities too? The enchant can crit, crits for about 1600.

I don't understand, i have it finally but i don't see it proc.... Normal attacks are fine for it?
EDIT: the proc is soooo rare, at least for me. If i don't do something wrong, Blizzard needs to change this... Moongose is till better.
I don't understand how i can have 5 stacks with this proc rate.... i just barely seen it 3 times in 15 mins...

I use this enchant on my paladin and it seems to go proc quite often. (of course having hit cap and expertise cap is a must when it comes to proc'ing this more) Puts her up to about 25% parry (normally 19% w/o the buff) And it does in fact still stack up to 5. But problem with paladin use is that I have a higher dodge and block than I do parry, so I don't know if it ever goes off to cause the extra damage. I haven't had a chance to dig through combat log too see if enemy was ever hit by 4k counter.

Does anyone know if this damage can be a critical?

I am indeed wanting this on my DK which dual wields Teldrassil Protectors. IMO, much better than Rune of Swordbreaking x2.

I did some simple numbers on this based on my own procs and parries on procs. It seems to give about 1 extra parry per combat minute. It's a rough estimation based on heroic tanking with a prot warrior (and might therefore look differently for a paladin). What does "when striking an enemy" mean anyway? Any damage? Direct damage? Physical? Magical?
