After some testing this glyph provides a flat 3% damage increase to the bonus Haunt provides (i.e. 23% more damage) . Therefore your Shadow based DoTs will do 2.5% more damage . A very respectable damage boost from a Glyph, making this a must-have for Affliction builds

If we consider that around 40-50% of a Warlock's damage will come from shadow-based DoTs, this glyph will contribute 1% - 1.25% increased damage

Is this glyph going to annoy other affli locks that doesn't have it? By this I mean is this going to be like Glyph of Horn of Winter
by saying "more powerful spell already active" when you try to land it?

Prime:
1.Corruption
2.Haunt
3.Bane of Agony/ switch to of Unstable Affliction for no-adds,single target encounters
Major:
1.Soul Swap
2.Shadow Bolt
3.Life Tap/Fear (only for dungeon farming)
Minor:
1.Drain Soul
2.Ritual of Souls (or anything really)
3.Enslave Demon (for situations which require it/ or anything)

In Mists of Pandaria this glyph has changed.

OLD: Glyph of Haunt - The bonus damage granted by your Haunt spell is increased by an additional 3%.
NEW: Glyph of Soul Shards - Increases your maximum Soul Shards by 1.

From Patch 5.2 PTR Notes:
Glyph of Soul Shards has been removed, and its effects are now baseline for Affliction Warlocks.
New Glyph: Glyph of Drain Life. This glyph increases the healing gained from Drain Life by 30%.
