For a Warlock, it's a bit different because of the stat weights.

Assuming you're Destruction (which almost everyone is in PvE, these days), the value of crit/haste changes (reference: http://elitistjerks.com/f80/t48311-simulationcraft_post_3_1_specs/):

0.65 crit ~= 1 SP
0.98 haste ~= 1 SP
2.11 hit ~= 1 SP (if not capped, of course)

So, re-crunching the numbers (I'm tossing Dying Curse in here, as well):

Flare of the Heavens
120 * 0.65 + (850*10/45)*0.9 = 248 SP equivalence

Scale of Fates
125 + (432*0.98*20/120) = 195.56 SP equivalence (this assumes you activate it immediately and every 2 minutes on the dot)

Eye of the Broodmother
125 + 87*0.65 = 181.55 SP equivalence (assumes totally stacked 100% of the time)

Illustration of the Dragon Soul
200 SP equivalence (assumes totally stacked 100% of the time)

Dying Curse
71*2.11 + (765*10/45)*0.9 = 302.81 SP equivalence (if not making use of all the +hit)
0 + (765*10/45)*0.9 = 153 SP equivalence (if not making use of any of the +hit)

Embrace of the Spider
98 + (505*0.98*10/45)*0.9 = 196.98 SP equivalence

Sundial of the Exiled
84*0.65 + (590*10/45)*0.9 = 172.6 SP equivalence

So, Dying Curse if the best if you can make use of all the +hit. The remaining question is: how much +hit do you not have to make use of for Dying Curse to still be equivalent to Flare of the Heavens?

(302.81 - 248)/2.11 = 25.98 hit rating ~= 26 hit rating

So, if you're only effectively utilizing 45 of the hit rating from Dying Curse, it's still equal to Flare of the Heavens. In fact, it's still even better than the Illustration of the Dragon Soul if you're only using 23 of the hit rating on it.

Ideally, you want Dying Curse while using >23 of the hit rating and Flare of the Heavens. If using <23 of the hit rating on Dying Curse, use Illustration of the Dragon Soul.

Remember, this is for 3/13/55 or 0/13/58 Warlocks.

Assuming it has a 45 sec CD, this trinket has an uptime of 22.22% and gives a passive 188.88 SP (these are rough estimates since it all depends on how fast the ability procs again after the CD is up).

I have this trinket for quite a long time. It's definitely an incredible trinket. But unfortunately it is not as powerful as shown in these theorycrafts.
The problem is it's uptime is much lower than 22% (10/45). I've been using an addon to watch the proc uptime and it's uptime is around 14%. 10% proc chance is kinda low and I've experienced really long downtimes nearly as high as 80-85 seconds even while non-stop casting.
120 crit is very nice, so is the immense SP buff especially when it's used properly to match with other cooldowns (use a proc watcher and a cooldown timer, really). But when theorycrafting know that it's actual average dps buff is lower than the ones shown here. Do consider that similar trinkets or enchants or set bonuses (Dying curse, 2t8 mage bonus, Tailor cloak ench etc) may have different proc chances, thus higher average uptimes compared to this one.
