Has anyone done the math on this to estimate damage increase? Here are some ballpark figures for me:

Arcane blast is up roughly 50% of the time for me, so 0.5*3%=1.5% damage increase

If my math is right, then this glyph is better than http://www.wowhead.com/?item=42751 for arcane mages because 2% crit should = about 1% more damage dealt.

Of course, you may want them both, I am not done researching all the major glyphs yet.

As Arcane mage, you really wanna use Mage Armor instead, since it gives you atm 40% of your mana regeneration while casting.

This is no longer true, or at least less true as of 3.1. The glyph of mage armor is only useful now if you choose not to put three points into arcane meditation, as you cannot have more than 100% MP5 while casting. In addition, with the change to molten armor and its corresponding glyph, molten armor now contributes almost twice the crit it did pre 3.1 and is now thought to be the better choice.

This may once again change in 3.2+

Great glyph - any arcane mage should use this. It simply makes consecutive arcane blasts (and one arcane spell after a Blast) do more damage.

Some quick napkin 3.2.2 maths:
Assumptions:
- You do a rotation that consists of at least 4 AB and then AM when MB procs.
- You need on average 5 ABs to proc MB.
- AM does double the AB damage prior to the AB debuff.
- x is the damage of 1 AB or 0.5 AM

Without the glyph you have:
x+1.15x+1.3x+1.45x+1.6x+1.6x+1.6*2x=11.3x

With the glyph you have:
x+1.18x+1.36x+1.54x+1.72x+1.72x+1.72*2x=11.96x

Thus the total damage increase would be:
y=1 - 11.96x/11.3x=~0.0584=5.84%

So for the optimal 3.2.2 Arcane rotation the glyph adds around 5.84% total damage.

This definitely makes it the strongest Arcane glyph and probably the strongest single target DPS glyph in WoW.
