what role will Resistances play in WLK？
These Resistance Furs are "Binds when picked up".
Does Blizzard wish to force all pve main tanks change their professions to Leatherwork?

Remember, the drop rate listed for items like this is meaningless. Non-LWs will never see it drop, and even LWs will only see it drop until they learn it.

This is actually quite valuable as it can save you making a piece of the (expensive!) frost resist set for Sapphiron. Yes, it's 60 as opposed to 86, but with a paladin/frost DK in group and the rest of the set you should be well covered.

Here are the mobs that drop resist recipes for Alchemy (mighty protection potion), Enchanting (cloak enchant), and Leatherworking (fur lining):

Damned Apothecary (Frost)
Cult Alchemist (Nature)
Cultist Shard Watcher (Shadow)
Skeletal Runesmith (Fire)

23 minutes of grinding and it dropped for me, also got the nature resist one off http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=32290 as well, not to bad.

Does anyone know if this has been changed in 3.0.8? Been killing the guys for these patterns for a couple of days now, only got the nature resist one so far :-/.

Took me about 4 hours of killing Apothecaries to get this to drop, while the Nature resist lining dropped in about 20 minutes. I had begun to wonder if they still drop at all. I'm posting to confirm that they still do in case anyone else is having horrid luck.

Within about 10 Damned Apocatharies around Aldur'thar I got both the frost and nature ones. I didn't even know they existed.

As it's already been above, the drop rate is higher than stated for all patterns due to non-leatherworkers lootings, but it's still a low drop - I'd say 1-2% chance per. They DO drop though, all 5, so just keep trying if you're having a hard time. One of them bastids' bound to have yours.

I farmed 3 of these fur lining recipes up on my hunter the day before 5.0.4 went live. Now they don't appear on my LWer list. Have they been removed from the game?
