Regarding lack of crit... with 88 Agility that gives you roughly 1% to crit which is roughly equivalent to 50 crit. not to mention the dodge and armor it provides. I agree it's not that attractive due to lack of hit or expertise, but maybe the 180 AP and 68 ArP makes up for it if you have hit/expertise elsewhere. It should get you by in the 10-25mans until an upgrade drops.

Definitely a nice chest piece to get. This item also shares the same model as http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44054#comments I thought it was pretty cool that it hade the rogue symbol on it. Then I got to 80 and saw this one looked similar.

One of the the better starting pieces for any melee dps'er. My only issue is with ArP being stacked on nearly everything in Wrath. I suppose that while it sucks having on just a few pieces of gear, Blizz is trying to make it common enough where it can start scaling as it did in BC.

If you're leather DPS (especially mutilate) get http://www.wowhead.com/?item=37219 instead. a lot easier to get, and better DPS stats overall.

I just recently picked this up on my Dk
Now before you go down grading it was an upgrade, had the hateful glads chest from Archavon.
I'm speced 17/0/54 and I was suprisex my Ap didn't go down when I put it on, I guess due to the 180 so which put asmile on my face (:

Just got these on my rogue, didn't intend too, was just grinding rep for the head enchant but forgot about it in the end and ended up exalted.

I'm already hitcapped at 330 hit wearing these, i'd of probably took these over my last chest just due to the agility and attack power these give, also nice to remove a bit of armor from enemies too until i replace these in Naxx-10 soon!

If you're a fury warrior and having bad luck with chest drops, this chest actually isn't a bad option. It has a RIDICULOUS amount of AP on it and the 88 agility makes up for the lack of crit on it. The ArP isn't really that useful, but other stats still make this chest well worth it.

I'll keep using this sucker till I get the Bonegrinder's Chest or Chestguard of Undeath to drop...or until I save up enough badges for the T7 one...which ever comes first.

Feral druid tanks that are looking for a chestpiece at 80 should steer clear of this one, in my opinion. While the large chunk of agility does give a decent amount of avoidance (39.31 agility = 1% dodge, so a little more then 2% here), the Polar Vest gemmed with three Solid Sky Sapphires nets you a total of 241 stamina (3831 HP in bear form), plus whatever enchant you put on it (I prefer the Heavy Borean Armor Kit, but Enchant Chest - Super Health works too).

I'd suggest the Polar Vest over this chestpiece, since HP is guaranteed survivability, and dodge is a roll of the dice.

Is it just me, or is this piece sexy as hell? Maybe I'm just a sucker for dark color patterns and neck-covers.. check it out while wearing your favorite tabard without shoulders.

With the buff to Armor penetration, this chest is AWSOME from an Arms Warrior's pov. Almost 70 armor penetration on this piece goes really well with the buffed Battle stance(+10% armor pen). Easily acquired aswell. So fellow warriors, don't feel ashamed to wear leather.
