Only taught by <Armorsmith Trainer>, meaning the ones labeled as such in Ironforge, Dalaran, Shattrath etc. Regular <Grand Master Blacksmithing Trainer> like the ones in Borean Tundra or Howling Fjord will not.

On a separate note, this leggings uses considerably fewer mats than most other craftable gear at this level. 3 saronite bars + 2 crystallized earths should be lower than 20g combined. If the smith happens to be an enchanter too (this leggings is BoP), *and* if this thing disenchants into a dream shard (I suspect it should), this *could* theoretically be an easy way of dream shards/cash.

Now it has been hot fixed in the game. Needs 13 saronite bars up from 3.
It was used to raise your blacksmithing skill that can get back some gold, I think maybe no blacksmith wanna make it anymore for getting dream shard.

As far as I know, this seems to be outdated and removed when the Armor/weaponsmith specialization was removed. I tried to find them, and the characters are still there, but they won't teach you anything.

This crafted item is bind-on-pickup (BoP). This means you must learn the pattern and craft the item on the toon who wants to wear or transmog it.

The BoP Craft Confirm addon helps save you from accidentally crafting BoP items that you intend to trade or auction.

For those of you wondering, this recipe (and therefore the item it creates), as far as I know, is no longer obtainable (unless you learned it previously). That means, if you want to complete the savage saronite battlegear recolor set, you'll have to find other legplates that have this model.
