Just remembered how I got killed in Badlands today after seeing a Boomkin with a so-called level 60 Paladin after him. The Boomkin dismounted and attacked me asap while I went for the "Paladin" because of his low level. After dotting him up saw the Paladin casting his Bubble and using Hearthstone. When I saw that casted Mass Dispel few times but he was Immune each time I used it. After he HS'ed the Boomkin killed me, typed "bur" and left.

Some information about this trinket:

It costs 40 Necrotic Runes. The pet you summon is level 60 and does about 70-80 damage per hit every second or faster. The pet can be healed and buffed and lasts 30 seconds. When the 30 seconds are over he or she will cast a Divine Shield and use a Hearthstone. From what I've seen it only auto attacks. The pet has 2442 HP and 2434 Mana.

The summon is different for Horde and Alliance.

Alliance summons a Human male Paladin while Horde summons a male Blood Elf Blood Knight.

Edit: perhaps the summon differs by person? I have summoned mine ~8 times and only ever seen a male blood elf. Then again I could just be very unlucky.

The paladin you spawn can also cast Blessing of protection on party members and toss out a few heals.

During a headless horseman fight he bop'd a mage getting aggro, and in the next fight another one threw out a few heals. The bop was actually quite usefull.

Dmg: 6-50 melee. 66 on a crusader strike. (This was for a lvl 66 mob)

Heal: Heals a low health target for about 700, usually cast when you are at the 25% mark.
Blessing of Protection: Same as pally only it doesn't last as long.
Crusader Strike: Adds debuff to target, increasing holy damage taken by a fixed amount.
Exorcism: (Unconfirmed) Dealt about 500 damage to my undead target.

Between this, my ZA voodoo gnomes, and mirror image, i'll have a small army...

Just a word of caution to those on PvP servers...be careful where you summon this. I equipped and summoned my Argent Knight right at Light's Hope Chapel where I picked it up. My knight immediately attacked an Alliance player, and I was suddenly demolished by about 18 Argent Dawn guards.

Like real paladins, If this guy/gal bubbles while it is infected, it instantly gets transformed into a Zombie, but unfortunately, that zombie instantly dies.

If you summon this and get turned into a Zombie during the pre-WotLK event it wont leave you. It simply stays and fight with you, it can also be turned into a zombie.

I bought this trinket and like it for the most part. I think the biggest problem it has is when you summon the paladin it appears about 30-40 yards away from you and then runs to you. This can cause it to attack random players or mobs instead of help you with what is going on around your immediate area. The timer seems kind of short too... Just waiting for the paladin to run to you after summoned burns off a lot of time. It is definitely more of a novelty item.

I managed to grab one of these today on my Dwarf Paladin. Needless to say, the despawning was absolutely hilarious and had me in stitches.
You honestly don't need to buy this at all if you want to increase your damage but for the hilarity of it, this trinket is pure gold. Keep it, you'll cherish it forever.

I have used this trinket many times since I got it and I love it, I did notice once when I used it in Ironforge just for kicks that after about 30 seconds he started to bubblehearth but then I immediately mounted and took off, he cancelled his hearth and came running after me when he just up and died and my feet when his time had expired.

I summoned this guy up in Strat last night, in true lolret fashion it ran off aggroed a bunch of mobs, almost got killed, then bubble hearthed. Be careful you have no control over what this thing will do... almost like a real ret pally.

the Paladin will only fight for 20 of the 30 seconds it is summoned.
the last ten seconds are taken up by the bubble-hearth.

Watch if you summon this while on the stairs to Zul'jin in Zul'Aman. I had him ride past Zul'jin and agro him, and the adds in front of him, kinda funny to watch it bubble hearth though xD

Can anyone confirm if Hunter Feign Death after the bubble starts causes the pally to keep aggro(since its got some differences from what I can tell otherwise). Would be interesting for Bandages during their hearth.

This doesn't have much "practical" purpose. A few heals and pally spells are nice, but it takes up a trinket slot that could be filled with a much more practical trinket. I highly recomend getting this though, just so a year after WotLK launches you can bring out a slaveadin in a duel. A friend of mine had some on spazz when this dueled him during the event, imagine two years from now.

Sadly, it seems the bubble-hearthing effect has been removed. I summoned this guy about 4 times tonight on my Draenei, and got a blood elf every time (some male, some female), and each time they simply vanished. No bubble, no hearthstone... no humans either. Blizz, what's up?

I brought this out today just for fun. I play an Alliance character. Currently my horn is summoning the blood elf paladin that the Horde is supposed to get. More importantly, however, the paladin is simply fading away instead of bubble hearthing when the timer runs out. I hope this is a bug and gets fixed since the hilarity of the bubble hearth was really the only reason to have this.

The knight is now Level 70. And always a blood elf on my horde mage. The gender is random each time. Per summon, it usually does around 2000 total damage (to low armoured foes), and can be relied upon to toss a heal for 1000 ish.

Health: 3240
Mana: 3155

The Knight's Action Bar (+spell links)

Auto Attack - hits for about 90-120ish
Crusader Strike - hits for about 70-160ish physical damage and applys a stacking debuff that the pallys love.
Holy Strike - hits for about 300-500 holy damage depending on stacks of Crusader Strike
Holy Light - heals for about 1000 ish. Can crit for 200%, unlike normal mob spells which cannot crit. Only used once per summon, only cast if a friendly target is below 25-30% health.
Seal of Protection - bubble that protects party member from melee and ranged attacks, cast when the target is at about 5% health.
Divine Shield - undispellable immunity to everything. Immeditately after casting, the knight will cast hearthstone. Cast after 20 seconds or when the knights health falls below 5-10%.
Hearthstone - despawns the paladin.

The knight lasts about 35 seconds, (10 seconds of which is spent hearthstoning)

Interestingly, as the summon doesn't trigger the GCD, you can macro it with
/use Argent War Horn
/cast Ice Block / Divine Shield

this is the best trinket ever. If i take too much damage, i click the macro, and i go invincible for 10 seconds and the knight runs up and heals me, (which then draws the aggro from all the mobs attacking me). It even bubbled the priest when he was about to die and prevented a wipe once :P

Although it has caused its shares or party wipes. Such as the time in MgT, when it thought pulling kael while we were clearing trash was a good plan. We're all dead and it's standing there bubblehearthing on 5% hp, surrounded by kael and 4 mobs.

It's also great to use in duels, as the opponent never sees it coming, and if they attack it, the town guards slaughter the opponent :P

IMPORTANT: THE KNIGHT DOES NOT ALWAYS SPAWN NEXT TO YOU.
it can about 40yds away and running to you, meaning it can pull masses of mobs you were not expecting, but the important thing is that it looks epic when it happens.

Strange enough as a Alliance player with this trinket I always get a Blood Elf Paladin instead of a Human Paladin. Been bugged for a few patches. Wonder if its just me or if its bugged out for everyone. Need to investigate!

As of 4.0.3a, it looks like the knight ONCE AGAIN Bubblehearths!

Only been broken in some way for an entire expansion (Sometimes doesn't bubblehearth, sometimes doesn't summon the right Knight), but it was finally fixed. Let's see if it lasts.
