Early on, given the dearth of slow weapons that can be used in the offhand, this weapon will be big amongst enhancement shamans. The other alternative will be Pride (http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?item=40704), which for enhancement shamans, is inferior with less attack power and crit along with a faster speed.

Shamans may choose Pride over this weapon, however, if they are starved for hit rating which is now very important to them. Pride can also be purchased with heroic badges while The Stray is a Naxx drop.

Either way, it is nice that Blizzard has implemented formidable, epic, slow offhand weapons early in WOTLK, unlike in TBC.

this is NOT a rogue weapon. Rogue weapons need to be fast for poison and chance to get energy on hit.

would be nice if naxx 25 had a roflcopter twin too ;)

Easy to solo the trash as 85 as any class i would imagine. I did it fine as a bad geared enhancment shaman.I recommend the death knight wing (south west).

You can kill half of the mobs in a pack and run out. They will evade and respawn with all mobs again. Only works for the Death knight captain packs.

So far probably killed 200mobs or so. 2 epics so far. If i get bored i clear all mobs down to instructor and port out. After 30mins mobs respawn.
