This potion when used in conjunction with the Mage ability Invisibility, can extend the length of the time you remain invisible to up to ~35 seconds.

Simply drink the potion when you have ~1-2 seconds remaining on Invisibility, and you'll be seamlessly transfered into 15 seconds of "Lesser Invisibility".

Also note that while you are invincible as an effect of this potion, you will NOT be able to see mobs. So if you're running past a pack in an instance, or a group of mobs in the outdoor world, you won't see if there are any mobs (and in that case; where they are) standing further in behind the first pack. My advice: plan carefully if you're making a stealth run for anything using this potion.

I thought this was just for fun without much practical usage until I got to Outland. With the two invisibility potions that happened to be in my pack, I fear bombed two 70s to get out of combat and then got away using this potion. A stack of 5 sells for more than 6g on my server so I am currently farming the herbs to make more ;)

If you have the tenacity to gather enough of them, can really help in Zul'Aman on a timed event run. Very helpful for skipping packs inside the instance; however requires good coordination!!

Good for Halaa if your corpse is getting camped. Rez, drink pot, run a few feet and mount. You can mount without breaking effect. As soon as you are mounted and move, effect will break.

Funny story i was playing as my mage who is a alcamist in STV on a PVP server my mage is lvl 36. Out of now where i get into a fight with a 36 druid we fight for a bit but then i run out of mana. I start to run blinking away. Im about to die and i frost nova him with the remander of my mana and as soon as i got out of combat drank this pot and ran and hid behind a tree and ate and drank while watching him looking for me having no idea where i went.

Tested today - cooldown still gets 10 minutes for potions...
Although there is no mentioning of that in the tooltip (as it looks like above here now)!
Doesn't Blizzard have some new guys learning the ropes, who could collect a list of all these small misses & typos, eh? And fix them!

Mounting breaks the invisibility (I didn't move, just mount) at the end of the mount casting time.
Does not affect mana gem CD, but using a mana gem breaks it.

I figured out an awesome strategy for winning in the gurabashi arena as a demonology warlock using these (assuming there aren't any really high levels around). What you do is find a nice spot for your voidwalker to hide, have him stay put wherever this spot may be. Then hide yourself in the bleachers before the event starts. When the chest drops, drink your invisibility potion, run to the center, sacrifice your voidwalker for the shield, drop fel domination, summon another void, and start opening the chest. If you're lucky, it will take a few seconds for people to notice you because they didn't see you on your way to the chest. Your shield will allow you to continue opening the chest even while being attacked, and when it gets low, you can sacrifice your second void, which will not interrupt your opening of the chest because the sacrifice ability is cast by the voidwalker, not you.

It has been a while since I have tried this, but it worked most of the time unless there happened to be a shaman who actually used purge or something. It's funny, most people seem to forget about those spells.

as a Ne druid you can do shadowmeld to this potion then cat and stealth and blizz hasn't fixed the 10 min CD on all pots after useing this.

As a NE you can shadowmeld, drink pot, and hearth as the effect will not be broken until the actual hearthing takes place. As a mage, you can invis to drop combat, drink a pot, and hearth as well.

This will leave people looking for you for quite some time :)
If only you could somehow watch them look for you.

if you activate this, and then use an "escape" skill or item (by escape I mean heartstone, or the DK's deathgate, or the druids moonglade teleport, or a mage's teleport to any town, or a shaman's astral recall) is the invisible effect broken?

if the answer is no, then this is an exelent item to use when being chased by an enemy, use pot, use escape item/skill.

I love these! I just soloed Attunement to the Core @ lv 55 with my warrior!

What I did:

Go thru the Cellar doors to the left as u enter BRD and up the door to the shadowforge lock. From there jump to the lock and open it, At lv 55 you can open it without agro if u position yourself right. (You can click the lock from pretty far away)

As soon as it opens, I downed the first invisibility pot and ran thru the upper area to the window that leads to incendius. It ran out about halfway thru the hallway so I charged the next group then intercepted the guard standing by the window. As soon as you drop thru the window, stay there until the mobs reset. (I'm protection btw, charge in combat! warbringer <3)

From here, there is a group of 5 elites that patrol the bridge. In my case I got unlucky and they decided to stay right where I had to jump for the whole ten minutes I waited the CD on the invis pot. After the pot went off CD I jumped and managed to kill them by killing medic first, then the soldiers. I started with shield block, when that ran out shield wall, then last stand and when I got below 1k health I Intimidating Shout and bandaged with a heavy runecloth. Managed to kill the last two elites by this point easily.

I walked down the big hall leading to incendius thru the middle, the last two packs agro you so I did the same technique of charging the first then intercept the second, quickly dropping to the lava below and jumping to the safe spot. Again they reset agro when you stay here. From here I walked hugging the wall until you get to the area where you have to swim across the lava to the island with 4 Fireguard destroyers. I pulled the one on the lava with taunt and killed him easily. Swam across until I got to the tip of the island, here I downed my second invisibility pot, made it to the other side and jumped to the lava.

After I made it past the 4 destroyers, waited the CD on the pot again and I used Nifty Stopwatch BEFORE using the Invisibility pot again (It has to be before cause after will break the invisibility!) and I ran across the bridge as fast as I could, dropping to the right hand side at the end of the bridge, from that point you can go around the 3 last fireguard destroyers and grab the Core Fragment!

It was pretty fun to be able to do this alone and I hope this post is helpful to anyone trying it.

This does break when a spell is finished casting, but not before you are done, just tested with port:Moonglade. So it should work with any teleport, HS, DK's DG, etc

I don't know if this is true to all players, but I gave this lowbie 2 stacks for free and he was like omg thanks, and when he went invisible he was tripping balls like "omg i'm a ghost this is so cool". But I didn't see anything different with him while he was "invisible"..

If you need ideas stats for invisiblity and stealth look to Donation's post. The first green one. He has a list of pots, gear and abilities that are relevant to stealth detection and invisibility detection. They are two different things.

Stealth is NOT invisibility and invisibility is NOT stealth.
Stealth detection will NOT help you see invisible targets.

Stealth & Invisibility are two completely DIFFERENT things. Both have the same intent of hiding from enemy players/npcs, but the simliarity stops there.

Stealth is essentially a fading - only becoming visible when an opponent is close enough to the stealth target and dependent on modifiers such as NPC/Player Level, detection potions, etc. and direction
Invisibility is more like a phasing of the user, similar to phasing in regions for quests. Would-be attackers are unable to see an invisible targets unless they have a "Detect Invisible" mechanic or the target walks into a hunter flare.

Using detect invisible will not allow you to see stealthed targets.
Using stealth detection mechanics (e.g. catseye elixir) will not allow you to see an invisible target.
Hunter Flares will reveal both.

NPC guards with an eyeball above them as viewed while stealthed or invisible can see BOTH.

FYI Warlocks: Burning Rush does NOT break invisibility potions, so use this before you pot and you can always use Lesser Invisibility Potions and be way ahead of your group in challenge modes without having to waste gold on the much more rare and expensive Invisibility Potion.

I found this info no where else and doubted it would work until I tried it myself, but the reason Burning Rush does NOT break invisibility because you "lose 4% life" each second, you don't actually "take damage" from burning rush.

Be aware that as of 5.4.2, this pot STILL puts ALL your pots on a 10 minute cool down, including health / mana pots. To clarify further, if you use this potion, you will not be able to use ANY other potion for 10 minutes.
