I’m a feral tank, and a fury warrior just rolled against me and won this item. Warriors, this is most definitely not a dps ring. There are plenty of dps rings, even blue quest reward rings, which are better for you.

Even if a non-druid wanted it for off-spec tanking gear (and one should not be need-rolling on off-spec gear anyway), considering that most people are finding it hard to reach the defence cap, taking a ring with no defence, block, or parry away from a feral tank for whom it’s the pre-raid best-in-slot item isn't a nice (or smart) thing to do.

Been trying to get this ring since hitting 80 and have had no luck yet. The silly leather trousers and mail bracers are the only things that seem to be dropping for me. I will not give up hope though!

Indeed this is a fantastic feral ring, but also a great warr/pala/dk tanking ring.

As soon as they are able to maintain their crit immunity without the extra DEF a ring slot can give (535 DEF for HC/540 DEF for raids). Then this is one of the best rings out there.

I think this ring has quality that any tank would look for pre-raiding and even during raiding. I'v been raiding for awhile now and have cleared Naxx and all the others except Malygos, and I still run this instance each day looking for this ring.

the ring is better then most blue rings i have found and also better then the one i have equipped.

Good for all tanks, though some tanks may find longer use for it. good luck getting it to drop, and remember to have fun.

I would like to state that this ring is best for feral druids. They benefit the most from it. Granted it could be good for any other class, but it has no defense whatsoever and I personally think this rings should go to feral druids first...It dropped for me and a ret pally took it for dps set.

This is actually an amazing ring, and certainly not just for Feral Druids. If you can sacrifice the 30 Defense Rating or so on comparable rings and still maintain 540 Defense, you will not find a better ring than this one prior to 25-man content. Non-druids highly undervalue armor bonuses.

It's one amazing ring. 1.25 % dodge before Diminishing Returns is excellent and the armour on here makes it a good effective HP tool, since it shaves damage off every physical hit you'll take. I agree with bifodus: you won't find a better ring tailored to surviving than this pre 25 content.

This and Gatekeeper are probably the best combination of rings a feral druid tank can use until Ulduar. And they're certainly excellent for other tank classes after they've become defense-capped.
